@zimmerdiamonds I've recently started using sequences of numbers to lead into lines.
e.g. 5, 8, 11, 14, ... what comes next? what is the 88th term? find an equation for the nth.
Leads to rate of change = slope, many other things.

Huge news out of Desmos today. The curriculum (and as far as I can tell, Activity Builder) is being acquired by Amplify. Meanwhile, the calculator will spin off as a separate company, Desmos Studio. This is gigantic. Tectonic. But is it good?
