I am in Tokyo, and it's the end of the evening. Today, this morning, I received my second plasma filtration and absorption treatment.

During the procedure, a complication occurred when about half a cup of filtration remained to reach the 1.5L target. A significant blood clot formed in the line, which the machine successfully detected, triggering an alarm.

In the picture, you can see the blood clot, which almost looks like a drop of blood, but is not. Other image shows how dark my blood is while running thru the machine.

This is why the treatment is necessary for me. The clot could have migrated to vital organs like the heart, brain, or lungs, but fortunately, it was caught in time.
