We're working with @MidCheshireNHS to build a Christie Neighbourhood Cancer Centre in Crewe.
It's one part of our plan to bring as much treatment and care into communities as possible, shaping it around people's lives.

Its World Bronchiectasis Day!
A day for the world to come together to recommit ourselves to better clinical care and research for the third most common, and still most neglected, chronic respiratory disease

Thank you to everyone at The Christie for such a moving visit today.
Meeting patients, families and staff was a powerful reminder that healing is about so much more than treatment alone. A cancer diagnosis affects every part of life, in mind, body and the deeper part of ourselves. The way we process fear, uncertainty and change is deeply personal.
The Christieβs commitment to holistic care, from art therapy and wellbeing spaces to emotional and spiritual support, helps people navigate not only illness, but the profound impact it can have on quality of life. These services empower patients to play an active role in their recovery and wellbeing, reminding us that care should always be centred on the whole person.
Thank you for sharing your stories with me, and for the compassion, creativity and dedication shown every day across the hospital.

@NYJAtlanticPod I think Iβve learned not to get too caught up in the off season hype/hope. Of course I want to see us win, but I donβt think weβll be anywhere near the playoffs - so I wouldnβt say must-win.
Iβll also be overjoyed to have this played back to me at some point π
