@DontTraceMeBruh Imo, net good. More money going to real honest miners instead of just some random botnet manager is a win. Net hash being less obviously is not great but could also argue it was causing more centralization than there is now.

One thing that really convinced me of the importance of privacy was the fact that privacy around most cryptocurrencies is so bad -- you can't have uncensorable money if it's not private, because it can be censored on the individual level instead of the protocol level.
