This is pure political pandering. And Path would still be much cheaper and, for most people, more convenient, few people will switch

But the state and other local policies are equally unconstitutional. These local and state sanctuary city laws were never legal, and voters welcome the lawsuits. No one wants criminals protected

The suit makes clear that the EO sets such a high bar for the city to help the feds that it, in effect, bars any help, which is unconstitutional. The city will spend big but lose this suit
