@philgpbp David was the first announcer I ever worked with. I did stats for him on SJU games during my sophomore, junior and senior years at the school. Mullin, Jackson, Berry and Wennington years. Awesome time to be a SJU student and I had a courtside seat next to David for all of it.
@eboland11 Who should get the error? Throw is perfect. Rice is late getting back to base. Rules say you can’t give an error for that. Pitcher stops because he thinks rice will catch it. Can’t give him an error for that. Batter hustles to first on what have been a close play. Hit!!
@KeithOlbermann @StatsBySTATS Thank you @KeithOlbermann for saying what I wanted to say. We need to put some handcuffs on the people who tweet some of this out. Amazing.
Hey @RhettBollinger . I think the note you used in your Mike Trout column this morning is a little misleading. 3 of Trouts “game winning HRs” came in the third or fourth inning. I believe MLB games are 9 innings in length.

I don’t understand baseball anymore. In game 4 of the World Series, you start a pitcher who never started a game in his MLB career and then you bring in a starting pitcher with the bases loaded. Sounds backwards to me.
My life changed dramatically and for the better 28 years ago today. The beauty sharing a meal with me in this photo was born. I have been a proud poppa since. Happy Birthday @slambam93
