Charity Shop #6 in Hull today. British Heart Foundation on Jameson Street. Music a bit pricey, so mainly films and a John Wyndham that's new to me.

Charity Shop #5 The problem with charity shops in York is that they use AbeBooks, Discogs, etc. to price their wares and they overprice. Anyway, at British Heart Foundation on Goodramgate I added to my classic films and my growing collection of Carnegie Medal-winning books for £3

An afternoon watching the Yoto @CarnegieMedals awards ceremony. The students have read seven books over seven weeks, and their vote went to, 'I Must Betray You' by Ruta Sepetys, a thriller about the Romanian revolution of 1989. Congrats to all the authors involved in this award.
