I had a conversation with a German guy on Masto about how crazy it is that the UK still dumps raw sewerage into waterways. Reminded me of a cool project I worked on - 8ML of combined storage of treated water for park irrigation and industrial usage.

I scanned this photo from a very old album belonging to my grandfather and have finally been able to ID the pilot as Charles Scott. The flight occurred in 1931 and broke the record at the time. I am confident it is Scott on top of the aircraft. His Wiki is a great read.

Ten years ago I repurposed an old android phone into a solar powered weather camera. Through automations, it would take a photo every ten minutes then update a web page, send out a tweet and image on a Facebook page. Worked for a few years!
