@HasintheZ Yes, a lot more in football but you can always find a small sect in any major sports that will have a cult-like following and are superstitious.

Add gambling to that and they would be ready to get anyone that will “curse” their team.

@danizcuerdo I have, its been fairly common in superhero movies(usually packed first week showings) and what the intial post is likely reacting to. Last time I saw a crown like that was in demon slayer.

I also know people who actively seek those out saying it’s the only way to enjoy movies.

@danizcuerdo Just to clarify myself more, there are definitely nuances to theater reactions (ie: scenes that illicit reactions like a gasp or a scream) that are all normal but over the top ones like a standing applause during the movie where dialogue is still going is just uncalled for.

@danizcuerdo Gasps are fair yeah, it’s all uncontrolled reactions to the movie like shocked screams or a quiet “oh shit” to a horror scene.

What they are taking about is like the 3 min clapping and cheers in avengers end game where it was just over the top and has become way too common.

@danizcuerdo Yeah but not everyone in the cinema is down for that. Most people still prefer pure immersion rather than the cheers and woos like it’s a rollercoaster ride.

My best movie experiences is when the credits roll and everyone starts fully reacting cuz it’s when its time to do so.

@mrpyo1 You literally described why there’s still a portion that dislikes it. Even as an ARPG, it was average as combat wasn’t as impactful and the levelling system needed better reworking to lessen the grind. Side quests were also MMO leaning because “grind to lengthen the game”.

@BrainClouds Leaned too much on MMO-like RPG stat padding that made the combat feel awful and bland MMO-like side quests to justify the length and gear system.

I stand by that these ARPG games would’ve been recieved better if they dropped the AC name and were their own franchise.
