Developing an open source operating system for healthcare, but right now tracking John Mastodon's jet to hold him accountable for the weather situation.
#JohnMastodon's jet is currently at Katesbridge International Airport 2022-12-18 22:07 GMT. It is very cold - the coldest John has ever been, colder even than the Ice Age tundra of Siberia.

The @Raspberry_Pi 400 is a thing of beauty. The only downside is the absence of a headphone jack. Not a biggie though. This is a really capable little unit and I wonder if a @carebuntu version of #Raspbian would make sense...

All Uni hosps in Germany will use openEHR; federal funding is only if they share data on this basis. Objections from proprietary suppliers reqd. ministerial direction to overcome.

“Data-driven healthcare needs to be structured, semantically annotated data stored interoperable and independently from application systems” - Dr Oliver Heinze #openEHRdigital
Really looking forward to hearing @CrooksGeorge at the @openehr Digital event on now. First heard him lecture nearly 40 yrs ago when I was a med student in Aberdeen and he was a local GP lecturer.
Really sad to read this. Enormous amounts of money being spent with incompetent large companies. Meanwhile those of us working at the NHS coal face have quietly progressed a digital revolution, but are completely starved of cash to finish the job. 😞

@robdykedotcom @AnoopShah4 @marcus_baw @ShaneTickell@AdeByrne@tom_ormiston@justinmadders @fsfe @shanemuk In da house! :-) True about a lot of the legacy systems and processes and hardware - I think there are ways around that (and a lot of legacy software is just badly-written shite that can/should be redesigned on an open platform). Would love for this project to reboot!
