OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO TRIPLE LOCK POLL – NOW WE ARE TAKING THE NEXT STEP

Our public poll, which ran from Thursday, 22 October, until 9am on Sunday, 25 October, received an overwhelming response, with thousands of submissions recorded.
The message from participants was clear: people want a say in the future of Ireland’s Triple Lock and the decision to remove the United Nations Security Council authorisation requirement for relevant overseas deployments.
Among those who responded, 97.1% supported a national plebiscite before changes to the Triple Lock, while 87.1% said they would not vote for the Independents in Government who voted to remove it.
These results reflect the views of those who took part in the poll and is backed up by media polls. They demonstrate the strength of feeling among participants on an issue of profound national importance.
We will now proceed with a petition calling for the Irish people to have their say.
We believe the future of Irish neutrality should not be decided without giving the public a meaningful opportunity to express its view. We will seek to have every available constitutional avenue considered, including the mechanism under Article 27 of the Constitution, which provides a process for certain Bills of national importance to be referred to the people.
Article 27 has specific constitutional requirements and does not allow a public petition alone to trigger a referendum. Our campaign will call for the relevant constitutional process to be pursued and for the Government to respect the public’s right to have a say.
Now is the time to turn that response into action.

We were promised the Triple Lock would stay when we voted on Nice and Lisbon. Micheál Martin called it the core of our neutrality. Nobody voted to scrap it.
Who changed his mind? Not Dublin, not Cork. Cui bono? Not the Irish people.
Put it to the people. #TripleLock#Neutrality

THE PEOPLE WILL RECLAIM SOVEREIGNTY: BEO'S NATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO RESTORE THE POWER OF THE IRISH ELECTORATE
THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA OF DEMOCRATIC ACCOUNTABILITY BEGINS ON 31 OCTOBER 2026.
The BEO national campaign will challenge one of the most fundamental failures of democratic accountability in Ireland: a Government can abandon the promises on which it secured the people's votes, pursue policies diametrically opposed to its electoral commitments, lose the confidence of the public, and still remain in power for as long as it retains its parliamentary majority.
The people are expected to accept the consequences, voice their objections, and wait until the next general election, with no general constitutional mechanism to compel an earlier return to the electorate.
We will campaign for a clearly defined, rules-based constitutional mechanism through which the Irish people can trigger a fresh general election when a Government has materially departed beyond an established threshold from the mandate on which it was elected.
This is about reclaiming popular sovereignty, restoring meaningful democratic accountability, and establishing the principle that the authority to govern belongs ultimately to the people, not to a political establishment entitled to retain power simply because it can command enough votes in the Dáil.
NO INTIMIDATION. NO SUPPRESSION. NO SURRENDER.
Any attempt to intimidate, suppress, obstruct, or silence BEO through coercion, authoritarian measures, or the abuse of institutional power will be met in kind by BEO.
BEO will not be intimidated into silence, nor will the exercise of our fundamental democratic rights be surrendered to those who would prefer that the people remain powerless. The more determined any attempt to suppress this campaign becomes, the more determined our resolve will be to expose it, challenge it, and mobilise public opposition.
We will answer suppression with resistance, intimidation with defiance, and the abuse of power with an uncompromising demand for accountability.
Our commitment to popular sovereignty is not conditional upon the approval of those who hold office. It is precisely when those in power seek to silence the people that the defence of their democratic rights becomes most essential.
FROM PUBLIC ANGER TO DEMOCRATIC ACTION
From 31 October, BEO will confront this democratic deficit and advance the case for meaningful, enforceable accountability between elections. We will seek a national conversation about the introduction of a clearly defined, rules-based mechanism through which the Irish people could trigger a fresh general election when a Government has departed beyond an established threshold from the electoral mandate on which it sought their votes.
This campaign is founded on a simple principle: the people must have more than the right to complain, protest, and wait. They must have a meaningful constitutional means of requiring their representatives to return to the electorate when the conditions for such a decision have been met.
The precise criteria, safeguards, and constitutional arrangements must be developed through serious public debate, but the objective is clear: to restore the people to a position of meaningful authority over a Government that claims to act in their name.
POPULAR SOVEREIGNTY MUST BECOME A LIVING REALITY
BEO believes that popular sovereignty must be more than a declaration in our Constitution. It must be reflected in the practical mechanisms through which the Irish people can hold those who govern them to account.
THE NATIONAL CAMPAIGN BEGINS ON 31 OCTOBER 2026.
The Irish people should have the power to demand a fresh electoral mandate when their Government has materially abandoned the one on which it was elected.
That is the conversation BEO will take to the nation.
A NEW DAWN IN IRISH POLITICS. A NEW STANDARD OF ACCOUNTABILITY. THE PEOPLE MUST HAVE THE FINAL SAY.
Five Irish MEPs voted against the 8 October 2026 resolution asking the Council to assess listing Muslim Brotherhood-linked entities as terrorist organisations.
Lynn Boylan (Sinn Féin, The Left)
Kathleen Funchion (Sinn Féin, The Left)
Luke Ming Flanagan (Independent, The Left)
Aodhán Ó Ríordáin (Labour, S&D)
Michael McNamara (Independent, Renew)
Two Irish MEPs did not vote: Cynthia Ní Mhurchú (Fianna Fáil) and Maria Walsh (Fine Gael).
Anyone who is shocked at the names listed here simply hasn’t been paying attention.
The government can find billions in free accommodation, free meals, free laundry and social housing for people with no connection to this country.
New arrivals who never contributed anything.
Well here's the other side of the coin.
A man who has worked his entire life going to bed at 8pm because he can't afford to heat his home.
There's nothing wrong with helping others.
But my God lads you start with your own.
The Irish State’s Housing Agency offers a guide on how to apply for social housing translated into 24 different languages, including Arabic, Somali, Georgian, Albanian, and more. Essentially the Roderic O'Gorman "12 languages" tweets 2.0.

Not even 20 people!
What happened to
‘An entire nation?’
‘All of Ireland?’
Questions have to be asked how such a tiny group of people got such national and indeed, international, exposure from the MSM
This is all we have seen, or was rammed down our necks for over a week now. There were even less outside Leinster House yesterday.
Who’s behind this? Who’s paid for this? Is any journalist going to ask these questions or is the money that good not to?
If it looks like a, 'political cover-up' & smells like a, 'political cover up'..
People remember the pledge from the then Health Minister @SimonHarrisTD in 2017 - 'that no child would wait longer than 4-mths for spinal surgery', why is the proposed inquiry into the failings of children's healthcare only looking at the years 2019 - 2025 ? - Muireann O'Connell

Simon Harris along with Micheál Martin and Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have leaked more info about the Budget this morning!
Wait for this folks…
They’re going to give pensioners an EXTRA €7.50!
Isn’t that class?
Now our grandparents can afford a Happy Meal in McDonalds!
IF they’re a council tenant, the council will just up their rent by a fiver and they’ll have €2.50 left of the increase!
But remember - the CEO of the ESB Paddy Hayes received a 29% pay increase of €91,917, raising his annual salary from €318,083 to €410,000!!!
Wake up folks! We need this government out NOW.
Brenda Power is a rare voice of moral clarity amongst the Irish commentariat on this issue. In under a minute she eviscerates Ireland’s hypocrisy.
‘There wasn’t a single peep of protest to the Irish cricket team voluntarily playing Afghanistan last month, where women are treated worse than battery chickens. It is the most extreme humanitarian crisis in the world right now, as far as I can see, the gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Not a word of protest.’
‘Where was your indignation when we played [Afghanistan]? England wouldn’t play them, South Africa wouldn’t play them, New Zealand wouldn’t play them. The great humanitarians in Ireland had absolutely no difficulty. We’re hypocrites.’
Immigration to Welfare:
Did you know the Govt passed a new Social Housing law this summer ?
“The Housing and Residential Tenancies Act 2026”
This Act sets the rules for asylum seekers’ access to social housing
To qualify for social housing you must be “lawfully resident” and “habitually resident” in Ireland.
“lawfully resident” includes:
• Refugee status
• Subsidiary protection
• Permission to remain
• Programme refugee status
• Certain qualifying family permissions
So once someone moves from being an asylum applicant, they have an immediate legal gateway to the social housing list.
Social housing is NOT for citizens only.
And To be clear:
Until this summer, the rules governing migrants’ access to social housing were largely contained in a Departmental circular from 2012.
The Govt has now written them directly into law.
This was a chance to tighten up access to social benefits.
Remember the Govt admit most are “economic migrants”
But Instead they have doubled down.
This directly affects the housing crisis.
It puts new arrivals in direct competition with with disability campaigners & others for housing resources.
Why are they doing this?

NIAMH UÍ BHRIAIN: Why are so many Somalians on the Dublin Housing List? https://t.co/45OWXeyvrb
ESB IS IRISH STATE OWNED.
It made profits last year of €636 million. It paid its CEO €410K. Yet Irish households are paying some of the highest electricity prices in the world. If the Gov took action, reduced the prices/levies/taxation. It would also force down competitors.
So let me get this straight...
Some Irish politicians went to secretive globalist Bilderberg meetings with their globalist handlers & no MSM was allowed in & security guards patrolled the hotel.🤨
So is this how a transparent democracy in Ireland operates now?
#WakeUp ⚠️👇👇👇
🚨 New figures reveal a dramatic change in Dublin’s social housing waiting list.
Of 15,005 households waiting:
8,706 are Irish = 58%
6,299 are non-Irish = 42%
Somali households alone account for 1,320 applicants = 8.8% of the entire list.
The non-Irish share of accepted housing offers rose from 21.8% in 2023 to 32.9% in 2025. Approved Housing Bodies now provide almost 63% of all accepted offers.
Yet Dublin City Council admits it does not monitor allocation outcomes or waiting times by nationality.
It cannot tell us who waits longest, who refuses offers, why AHB nominations fail, or properly explain these enormous demographic changes.
A housing system distributing thousands of homes should not operate without transparent data.
Is she for real @sinnfeinireland - let's recap the past few years:
- 'there can be NO veto'
- 'you CANNOT limit numbers'
- stood AGAINST Irish communities at protests
- wanted to make 'migrants' a protect class in Hate Speech laws
Go Away@!!
