Yes Scotland was a collaboration of pro-Indy parties. It's first two directors in the controlling company Yes Scotland Ltd, were Scott Martin, a lawyer for the SNP, and Blair Jenkins who wasn't an SNP member.

We are witnessing BBC BritNat messaging in play as police probe a complaint made against Yes Scotland. The intention is to link the probe to the SNP.

Indeed the BBC article about the story claims the company behind Yes Scotland was set up by Alex Salmond. It wasn't. The article also links the Yes Scotland probe to the Peter Murrell case. Neither are linked.

This is crude propaganda from a station now notorious for such.

Scotland desperately needs its own public service broadcaster. From poor investment in art & culture to ignoring the Glasgow Commonwealth Games the BBC just isn't cutting it. Add to that no dedicated TV coverage of Scotland's World Cup matches and don't get us started on what passes for news.

We could and should get better from the £300m we pay London annually through the TV licence.

BBC reporter James Cook, when reporting on Peter Murrell's sentencing, said it was "striking" that Nicola Sturgeon wasn't mentioned during the court proceedings. Cook appears unable to accept she wasn't on trial. Sturgeon lives rent free in his head.
