🚨22-year-old Aswin, a daily-wage labourer from Chikkalampalayam near Kinathukadavu in the Pollachi area of Coimbatore district, #TamilNadu ,was murdered at his home. Reports state that acquaintances (primarily Mathesh, around 22, and a 16-year-old, with other names such as Dinesh appearing in some accounts) entered the house while he was asleep around 1:45–2 a.m. after a prior dispute linked to alcohol. They attacked him with a sickle/arival and a hammer, cutting his throat and beating him to death.

The perpetrators then took selfies posing with the body (including with weapons), recorded video footage related to the attack or body, and shared the material on Instagram and other social media
