@TheYearOfSue No they are certainly false assumptions of yours. I have a book on amazon titles 'Spotlight on the Sabbath' it may interest to you (?) And, no the verses I have shared are certainly not "whispers in the dark". Are mocking laughing faces "the ability to converse in good faith"?
@TheYearOfSue I'm not the one who put a mocking laughing faces on these replies.
God bless you.
I'm glad we both know that Christ's righteousness is our standing before God and our only hope.
@TheYearOfSue Nothing self righteous about quoting Gods word as a loving warning. We have to be 'perfect' Matt. 5:48. Jesus and only Jesus fulfilled the law perfectly for us. Perfection can only come from being in Christ (as his bride) and receiving His gift of Righteousness.
@TheYearOfSue You are married to the Law instead of Christ Gal 4:24
You wrongly think every reference to the Commands of God or My commandments is a reference to the 10 Commandments.
But the Apostles knew otherwise
1 Jn 3:23 clearly tells us WHAT they are!
Gal 3:19&23 the Law was UNTILL faith
@TheYearOfSue You have completely ignored the references made.
That Sabbath keeping is NOT commanded ONCE in π New Covenant Scripture π
And your reply is completely irrelevant. The Gospels were primarily OLD Covenant. Jesus instituted the NEW at His resurrection.
@TheYearOfSue Sabbath day keeping is the ONLY one of the 10 Commandments NOT repeated in the NT.
Why?
Because the Old Covenant Gal.4:24 "from Mount Sinai"
2 Cor.3:4-10 is the "ministry of DEATH'" that now "has NO glory"
@TheYearOfSue The bible clearly tells us WHY God commanded Israel to keep the Sabbath.
Deut. 5:15 To "remember that" God had πdelivered THEM from slavery in Egypt.
SDA replace πJesus OUR deliverer who rose on Sunday for a day of the week for Israel.
@The_OriginalOB The bible does say: that God has given us prophets (Eph 4:11) .. UNTIL we *all* attain the unity the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a mature man...to the fullness of Christ. - Obviously the "until" hasn't been fulfilled yet, SO YES - there are still prophets.
@The_OriginalOB If we are truely 'in Christ' we are living in His righteousness.
If we are living in the flesh (intentional sin) or in works FOR salvation we are NOT living 'in Christ' or in His righteousness.
Grace enables us to live in liberty and victory not sin. Titus 2:11-13
JP is a FT
@The_OriginalOB The Pharisees are the complete opposite of carnal worldly minded Christians.
And "easy believism" certainly does "tickle the ears" of carnal 'christians' who don't have 'oil in their lamp' but believe the lie of OSAS
@The_OriginalOB Prince is a false teacher.
False teachers are extremely dangerous for young Christians and others who are not fully grounded in sound doctrine.
He has some very good teachings, but it is mixed with some very bad teachings, making him very dangerous.
To promote him is very unwise
@BoyWdjd4jrh@wholeheart4god@eXcalvinist :D, no I did not dismiss what Jesus said, I fully accept what he said, and what he said is clarified and confirmed in context and repeatedly confirmed in full biblical context. Calvinsits like cults so often use verses in isolation - Calvinism is NOT the 'gospel' (good news)
@BoyWdjd4jrh@wholeheart4god@eXcalvinist Sadly, your beloved Calvinism makes you THINK I disagree with Jesus in the verse you mention.
All 5 points of Calvinism are unbiblical and are a corruption of truth.
