Germans 🇩🇪 in the US for the World Cup have shown a ton of love for the 🇺🇸, while the whiny miserable people from England 🏴 complain about everything.
In all seriousness, why are the Brits even here? Came to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary?
Yes, being American… living in the USA and rooting against the USMNT 🇺🇸 in the World Cup is a bit pathetic.
But do whatever you want I guess, it’s your right.
I used to be entirely in the camp that said you should kick your kids out at 18 and force them to live independently and make their own way in the world. I don’t feel that way at all anymore. I want all my kids to live with us until they get married. Even after they’re married, if they want to live on our property, or close by, my wife and I would love that.
The important thing is to teach your kids responsibility, which we’re doing. They need to contribute and help around the house, which all of our kids do from a very young age. Provided you aren’t raising ungrateful useless moochers, why kick them out? Why drive them away from your family home? I don’t see the point in it anymore. I actually like my kids and like being around them.
Maybe they’ll all end up scattered to the wind. But I’d prefer to keep the family together. Why wouldn’t I?
The number of people who clearly use AI to craft basic posts on this site, and replies to posts, is pretty shocking. Once you learn how to spot AI writing, you see it absolutely everywhere on here. It’s unmistakable. The tech has existed for 10 seconds and already huge swaths of people have completely given up on even the simplest forms of creative writing.
The “honeymoon phase” is one of the most harmful marriage myths. Young couples go into marriage expecting immediate bliss. Even worse, they believe that however happy they are in the first few years, that’s the happiest they’ll ever be. The truth is exactly the inverse. It’s hardest at the start. Anything worth doing is always going to be most difficult when you first start doing it. Gets better and better as you go. Stick with it. The real honeymoon comes later. You need to grow into it.
Watching Toy Story 3 with my kids. In the landfill, the toys are apparently the only conscious beings amid all the random plastic objects. And yet in the fourth installment we’re introduced to a self-aware spork that Bonnie, a young child, has named Forky. This suggests that consciousness in the Toy Story universe is imbued into objects only once they are named and loved by a human being. This would explain why the toys in Sid’s room in the first film apparently have a more rudimentary and savage form of consciousness, reflecting the conscious state of the child who owns them. I need to develop this theory more. I’ll let you know what I come up with.
Just left Charlie Kirk’s memorial
and it felt like a revival.
The greatest one I have ever witnessed.
The energy in the room was indescribable.
Deep respect for Erika Kirk’s heartfelt yet strong message.
Major kudos to the TPUSA team for delivering a world class event with only 7 days notice.
Charlie did in 31 years what would’ve taken 10 over achievers to accomplish.
Today could literally be the turning point of USA because of Charlie.
Future looks bright.
Eric Wynalda explains why MLS could sabotage the USMNT’s World Cup dreams next summer 🗣️
“I worry about Gio Reyna. I don’t think coming back to LAFC and playing for Steve Cherundolo is going to help,” he said.
“Cherundolo is someone I’ve known for a long time. He’s boring. He hates the media. He’s not going to inspire anybody to do anything prior to a World Cup.”
“Sorry if that hurts your feelings, but he’s not the answer. He wouldn’t be the answer as the national team coach either and he’s probably on his way back to Germany.”
“But if Gio Reyna comes back to play in MLS, that’s when I really worry. Ask yourself this question, let’s remember the idea like bringing Michael Bradley home with Jozy Altidore for Toronto.”
“They also brought Clint Dempsey back to play for Seattle. They paid him $6 million a year! That was 2014.”
“After three years in the league, what happened to our national team? We didn’t f*cking qualify, and you can’t put it together?”
“Michael Bradley, Dempsey, and Jozy Altidore can’t figure out a way to qualify against Trinidad? With Christian Pulisic trying to pick up the scraps and make something happen at a young age?”
“And Pulisic was the one that scored? This is what happens when you come back and you are preparing for a World Cup and you’re playing in MLS. This is what you get. You’re not going to be competitive in a World Cup environment.”
“End of story. This is not an opinion. This is factual.”

USMNT legend Eric Wynalda blasts Landon Donovan 😳
“I know that Landon wants Diego Luna to stay [in MLS] and be a star,” Wynalda said on Unleashed with Eric Wynalda show on GOLZ TV.
“Remember when Landon tried to tell us Christian Pulisic should come back?”
“Stu Holden was saying, ‘If I were Gio Reyna, I’d play in Major League Soccer.’ I get it FOX, I get that you have a partnership with them and you put their games on TV.”
“But stop polluting the minds of people because it’s getting f*cking annoying. Nobody believes that, Landon. Nobody even comes close to believing that this place is the best place to get ready for a World Cup.”
“Sorry not sorry. You and Tim [Howard] having your conversations about some of this stuff is really starting to get frightening.”
“Because you’re trying to convince people that your career made sense. The bottom line is that we wanted you to be more. So don’t start chiming in to make the guys now less.”
“Are we clear? Good. I don’t want to get into these fights but there’s a big part of me that wants to stuff a sock in your mouth right now. It’s getting annoying as hell.”
President Trump had a historically good week. In fact it might be the best week of President Trump’s presidency.
Don’t take my word for it, take CNN’s.
Watch.

Seeing a lot of takes saying Trump is simply defending Israel, or has been manipulated by Netanyahu.
There is clear America-first rationale for the bombing, even if you ignore Israel entirely.
And it’s important to understand it, even if you disagree:
1. Iran had enriched Uranium to 60%.
3-5% is needed for civilian energy. 90% for nukes.
2. Between February and May, they increased their 60%-enriched stockpile by 50%, enough to make several nuclear bombs.
3. Going from 60-90% takes weeks.
Once Iran hits weapons-grade, it becomes far more difficult to detect what they do with it.
They could assemble a bomb in secret, underground, in Fordow. That’s likely why Trump targeted that site.
4. A nuclear Iran triggers a chain reaction.
Saudi Arabia has already said: “If they get one, we have to get one.”
Even many Muslim countries consider Iran a bad actor - not just Israel.
5. A nuke gives Iran cover for proxy warfare.
With nuclear deterrence, Iran could act more aggressively through Hezbollah, Hamas, and other actors.
They wouldn’t need to use the bomb. Just possessing it changes the game.
6. Iran’s regime, the Islamic Republic, is hostile to America.
They chant “Death to America” - earnestly and regularly.
To be fair: America’s history of missteps in the region has contributed to that hostility.
But acknowledging mistakes in history doesn’t mean ignoring the present threat.
The fact remains, Iran using nukes against us, directly or indirectly, was a real threat.
How much was Trump influenced by Netanyahu? We cannot know.
But he had to make a choice.
So he chose to specifically target Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
And there’s strong rationale for the choice he made.
If you don’t like what he did, ask yourself:
What was the alternative given the situation right before the strike?
This wasn’t a simple choice.
It was a calculated risk in a probabilistic world.
Iran was playing nuclear poker - uncertainty was their weapon.
Trump removed that uncertainty.
Peace is not made exclusively through diplomacy.
Sometimes, it requires force.
Such is the imperfect and sadly, violent world of man.
I don’t know if Trump exhausted every peaceful option first.
I hope he did.
But he made a choice.
Hopefully this helped you understand, even if you disagree.
Now we wait to see the consequence.
Trump rolled the iron dice of war.
Let’s pray the result is peace.
Even if that peace was won through force.
Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't take the bait when The View's Joy Behar asks him about the ICE raids in California:
"I'm so, so happy to see first-hand that this IS the greatest country in the world and it IS the land of opportunity...
...When you come to America, you're a guest. And you have to behave like a guest...You have a responsibility as an immigrant to give back to America."
Lie #1 Trump is a dictator who held a military parade on his birthday. Fact Check: The US Army was in fact founded June 14th 1775. Coincidentally trump was born the same day.
Lie #2 This is funded with tax payer dollars. Fact Check: This vast majority of this was funded by America250 Foundation with sponsorships from major corporations including Oracle, Lockheed Martin, Palantir, and reportedly Amazon and Coinbase to name a few
Lie #3 Only Authoritarian regimes have military parades. Fact Check: Numerous democracies have military parades like... France, UK, Canada, Italy, Israel, Australia, South Korea... among numerous others
Happy Birthday to President @realDonaldTrump! He has a hard job, and he loves this country. Join me in praying for him and his family today. May God give him wisdom and direction as he leads our nation.
