If people fully understood what's being stolen from them under capitalism we'd have instant revolution. Tech innovations could be used to create paradise on earth, and instead they're being used to turn billionaires into trillionaires while everyone else lives a life of toil.
Believing the myth that Universal Basic Income will lead many of us to quit our jobs is like believing a safety net encourages high-wire performers to fall purposely. UBI doesn't take away the incentive to work; it's about providing a foundation from which we can all aim higher.
Alex Rodriguez asked a question. Reggie Jackson answered it.

Pfizer is laying off employees as part of a plan to save $5.5 billion.
The same company made $53 billion in profit after releasing its covid vaccine.
How come employees pay the price during rainy days but when the sun is shining it all goes to investors and execs?
