@movementcoachkm What would be an example of quiet eye for hurling, Kevin? Keeping your eye on the point of contact with ball through the strike? How about something like fielding/judging the flight of the ball?
@eointighe@foofighters@FooFightersUK Honestly, if you can't escape in Allihies, you can't escape anywhere. Never a truer word said. Next time, check out @DzBeara to experience sitting with the things we want to run away from.
I don’t think this was the answer producers were expecting when baseball great Reggie Jackson was asked how “emotional” he felt to be back in Birmingham, Alabama.
I assume he was expected to offer some fond nostalgia.
He told the truth instead.
@DavidDCain Depends what you're consuming instead. The consensus seems to be that canola aka rapeseed oil is fine...but it's still oil, so consume in moderation.
@stevemagness I only got back into running last year, and one hypothesis that I've formed is that as people believe themselves to be slowing down, they start opting for longer and longer distances. Rightly or wrongly, I still felt there was something to be gained from trying for a faster 5k.
@movementcoachkm The "how could I do all that in a day" part is the bit that's obvious really. Only possible if you live a joyless monk-like existence. Maybe I'm being harsh with the joyless bit, but not with the monk-like part.
@SarahkateMurph3 Most running people I follow recommend doing 80% of your training at a slow pace to avoid injury and get fitter over time. Zone 2 is all the rage these days.
