@brianjaffa The real danger here is SG closing down CS, then opening up a Ministry for Culture to do its diplomactic work for it. All art subsumed to govt: orwellian
@brianjaffa I look fed to their review: reminding them off the arms length principle.. and telling SG to stop their incessant creep over past 10 years into trying to do CS job for them
@brianjaffa They need to front the sector up. Two weeks since CS announcment and @AngusRobertson hasn't said anything- not saying anything before the Fund closes tmw would be pretty astounding/damming
@brianjaffa You should watch it all Brian. Great questioner.. the SNP govt are spent. NS knew it, HY knew it and from the look in Swinney's eyes, he knows it.
@transcotland@FionaHyslop@scotgov A great redistributive policy thats supporting all young people in a cost of living crisis to further their lives. Credit where its due
Artists doing what artists do: beautiful words and best encapsulation Ive seen all week of whats at stake in @CreativeScots / @scotgov standoff - @meganchapmanart β

@brianjaffa As long as its spent on the city/residents and the 11 other months, I'm fine. If it's just more money for festivals, then more tourists, more tax, etc its unsustainable growth at the expense of the city
@MayMilesThomas@brianjaffa@AngusRobertson Mr Robertson made a pledge in parliament about CS's budget this year. If that pledge isn't upheld, and his word means nothing, then his job is untenable
@AngusRobertson OMG. Anyone else in on my petition to stop Scot Gov using free photo library clip art ( or emojis) for their arts announcements? Artist palettes? Like its 1899 π
