We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.

The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.

The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.

The 2024 #NobelPrize laureates in chemistry Demis Hassabis and John Jumper have successfully utilised artificial intelligence to predict the structure of almost all known proteins.

In 2020, Hassabis and Jumper presented an AI model called AlphaFold2. With its help, they have been able to predict the structure of virtually all the 200 million proteins that researchers have identified. Since their breakthrough, AlphaFold2 has been used by more than two million people from 190 countries. Among a myriad of scientific applications, researchers can now better understand antibiotic resistance and create images of enzymes that can decompose plastic.

🚨Lo que se sabe:

1. La actualización que ha hecho el 'antivirus' CrowdStrike esta noche era incompatible con Microsoft. Y ha petado todo.

2. La solución fácil sería temporal, reiniciar recuperando el estado anterior del sistema (esto precisa técnicos y están colapsados).

3. La solución final es que en CrowdStrike reescriba el software actualizado y reinstalar el update. Eso requiere semanas.

4. Es posible que sigan cayendo sistemas a medida que se abran los ordenadores de backup si no se han podido evitar que carguen la actualización.

5. Se desconoce si al deshabilitar el CrowdStrike se abren puertas a que te entre de todo (virus que se activen dentro de unos meses al no haberlos detectado)
