@elonmusk @Tesla There’s a glitch in your website regarding vehicle lease taxes, that’s showing the incorrect amount. I want to lease a car and I believe this glitch is nationwide. It’s calculating higher tax, showing a higher monthly rate and is shying people away from making the purchase. I noticed this glitch today but im assuming it’s been going on for a while because had the accurate number showed up a few months ago, I would have bought the car. The rep I was working with also couldn’t figure it out and gave me the new lease tax law in Illinois (103-0592) that went into affect earlier this year. However vehicles are excluded from this.. Im being charged a use tax when i shouldn’t be. Please fix it so i can proceed with making the purchase, or if you’re feeling generous I’ll take a Model Y performance on the house 🥳
