@karol Judging by the elderly population’s media literacy from social media pre-AI, this doesn’t surprise me. The older generations are entirely too credulous when it comes to the Information Age.
@Noahpinion To be fair, that’s been the Republican party’s tack over the past few years too - it’s what produced Trump. No matter how incompetent he is, you hear “but he fights” 🙄
@StephenKing The thing I appreciate about Stephen is that he said the same thing about Trump. You’ve got to admire his consistent Christian position. 🙄
@dieworkwear Overwhelming few. Once you believe this is a reality, you also stop believing in the possibility of large utopian govt. I think this is a key differentiation between those who want small limited govt vs. those who desire and advocate for expansive govt power.
@grahamformaine Just in: Platner is ignoring his own party’s pleas to “just stop”; he plans to continue pushing through objections until he’s successfully forced himself on the electorate.
@PhilWMagness Bizarre... He says all parties took the evil of slavery as a given, but then… wished they’d used their discussion to debate it via a moral lens as opposed to economic? As if the whole class taking turns denouncing slavery as evil would’ve been a more worthwhile discussion?
