As a creative and entrepreneurial person, I was feeling unfulfilled in a product management tech position. After searching for and wide for a new opportunity, I was nearly hired by a YouTuber, but was turned down at the last minute.
After the pain of that rejection, I decided it would be fun to try to re-create some top finance Youtubers sets and film a couple videos in their style to send them showing that I could write for them or edit for them, and I was willing to do it for free to pursue that creativity.
But at the last minute, a show that I wanted to see, but that did not exist yet, kept poking at me from the back of my brain and I instead decided to film the very first episode of Financial Audit.
3 years ago, today, I upload my first video.
By my mid 20s, I had accumulated a quarter million dollar net worth by aggressively paying off my bad debt, working my butt off in jobs, and making smart real estate / stock market investing moves. I wanted to share what changed my life with others who were in as dire of a position as I found myself during my early 20s.
My ultimate goal was to create a show that I would be proud of and if I got very lucky, I might even be able to make $75,000 a year and pursuit at full-time. But instead, you guys decided to give me the biggest blessing in the world and pushed this little cheeky show to the top of the charts in the finance niche. YOU’VE created (as of today) 23 full time jobs, changed the lives of our guests, and changed your own lives.
I’ve always said it, and I still mean it today, I wish I could literally give every single one of you a hug.
Attached is a picture of me in early high school with friends making YouTube videos. I never thought this could be a real job. It’s been the ride of a life time!!! Let’s make the fourth yesterday or Financial Audit the best yet 🔥
@RivalsAssembled@MetroUK I’m respect their decision but it’s horrible when player insta-lock dps and don’t want to get off of it even if we’re not balanced in other types just cause they only want to dps.
