We played Monopoly with the kids. First one round of standard monopy, with normal inflation: Money flowed to the rich. Next round we did NOT introduce new money passing START but reduced all prises with 30 % each round. Wealth distribution got way more equal #Bitcoin

@sveinol Lurer på hvor lenge journalister kommer til å fortsette å advare mot å spare i bitcoin pga stor risiko for tap. Det er mange som har tapt på å følge den advarselen… Etter så mange år må jo snart konklusjonen bli at det hadde lønnet seg å spare litt jevnt og trutt.

Kwallos Shop, owned by Nosihle and her husband Vuyisa, was the first township spaza shop to start accepting payment in #Bitcoin, in August 2021.

Unfortunately they had a fire accident over the weekend.

A close family member lost his life when the informal building where he lived adjacent to the shop burnt down and caused extensive damage to the shop itself, destroying most of their stock.
