@APPGCW The media must take some responsibility for the concerns about e-bikes. There are those which are legal to use on public roads, and those that are not.
Legal electric pedal-assist bikes are not the ones causing fires, when used correctly. Illegal e-bike fires are the danger.

East Hampshire District Council have removed bottle banks in their district.

Residents can have their glass collected from the kerbside instead, by placing them in a box.

Anyone ordering a box has to wait 10 weeks . . . Hardly joined up thinking.

Thankfully, the vast majority of motorists in #Alton, #Hampshire are very considerate when passing cyclist.

They will often give way, to allow #cyclists to turn safely, which helps.

So thank you #Alton drivers for making our roads safe to #cycle.

A friend has had his e-bike stolen from outside St. Lawrence Church, #Alton.
Despite being secured to one of the 'Sheffield-style' cycle racks, situated near the entrance to the church, thieves cut through the lock.
