My coin isn't pumping - should I sell it?
I get this question a lot at the moment.
The following projects feel "dead":
$ROUTE, $QNT, $AZERO, $EWT, $MNW, $CHNG
Let me briefly explain how I see it:
~Status quo~
Currently we see certain coins outperforming the entire market.
Mostly driven by:
• Narrative
• Twitter shills
• Newly discovered projects
• Bullish events of the project
---
~Market Sentiment~
The market is generally very bullish.
We see that the interest from institutions is there.
We are also seeing more liquidity flowing into the market.
However, a lot of this new money is still flowing into $BTC.
If we look at TOTAL 2, we notice that the rebalancing is just beginning.
And don't forget:
TOTAL 2 also includes stables.
This means that the money does not necessarily have to flow into Alts just because TOTAL 2 is rising.
We also realize that retail is not yet in the market.
Accordingly, it can be summarized as follows:
• Retail not yet in the market
• Liquidity is rising, but still in moderation
• Money flow cycle phase 1 / transition to 2
---
~Statement~
This realization makes it clear that it only makes sense that not all altcoins are currently pumping.
There is still no liquidity.
In addition, there is currently another investment interest.
The aim of current market participants is not to invest in alts.
In any case, not really yet.
What is needed now is patience.
---
~History~
Let's take a quick look at the past:
Have big winners been pumped since day 1?
HELL NO!
The $BTC run started in March 2020.
Followed exactly by a one-year bull run.
What was going on at that time with projects like
$SOL, $MATIC, $ATOM, $AVAX?
They were in the deep sleep phase & consolidated.
See here:
$ATOM
$AVAX
$MATIC
They only got their attention months later.
As mentioned before, this is the nature of the cycle.
This process is normal & rational.
It is irrational to sell consolidating projects NOW & invest in pumps.
You need patience, as always.
Then you'll be rewarded.
Stick to your plan & focus on the fundamentally strong projects.
The goal is to have sustainable pumps.
Not just hype-driven ones.
This is where you usually end up with exit liquidity.
