Post of the day: perhaps the most important essay I’ve read so far this year. @JonHaidt on social media, trust, the Tower of Babel, and what to do about it. https://t.co/HxpiVVpOb8
The Church Plant "launch" is a bad idea that originated in the business sector for bringing a new product to market.
We need more Church Plant marinades that soak and saturate for a longtime in a neighborhood to see if God is cooking something.
@Airbnb@AirbnbHelp I’m experiencing terrible service. Just cancelled a stay within 48 hours as per terms and conditions but you are refusing to refund me. No help given so far. Please sort
There is no launch of a Church Plant, it's not a rocket ship.
A Church Plant roots deep in a place and slowly provides vegetation for a local community.

6. Policing Ideological Borders
7. Using Shame to Control/Ostracize

As we return to gathering in person, let's do the hard work of changing the scorecard for success from great services & large gatherings, to deep transformational discipleship for every single person on our team and in our ministry.
God is serious about getting our attention.
The 'median' Christian in the world is not male but female, not white but brown, black, or Asian, 22 years old, in the developing world rather than the first world—and far more Pentecostal than Presbyterian. She has not been to a Passion conference; she has not read CS Lewis...
