@SABCNews I find it frustrating to see Black businesses exploiting the BBBEE policy to gain access to successful companies without putting in the necessary effort to develop their own businesses, yet still being labeled as successful.
@ftenergy It's ironic that Eskom has returned to its pre-2009 competence level, relying on previously dismissed skills and bringing in international experts. Hopefully, they've learned that competence should be the priority in hiring.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has warned those involved in corrupt activities that they should be ready to face the consequences, with law enforcement agencies now invigorated to deal with malfeasance.

President @CyrilRamaphosa@MYANC, you keep talking about addressing corruption. How did they destroy the SAPO after Mark Barnes fixed it, or are you "surprised" again?
πΏπ¦How did SAPO go from being debt free with R10,65bn in cash and financial assets in 2019 to writing off R7,4bn of debt in 2024, despite a further R2,3bn capital injection in 2023?!πΏπ¦ https://t.co/HDZn185jlW
@zilevandamme He didn't violate our constitution; he just disagreed with the court's ruling. Like many SAns I also disagree with the court on issues like the "Kill the Boer" slogan and the death penalty. Does having a different opinion make me lawbreaker? Politicians disagree openly every day.
@TimesLIVE If the ANC government has such negative views of the USA, why cut political ties with the USA and risk damaging our economy? Perhaps Russia and China will come to your assistance.
@SABCNews No, he did not undermine the judiciary. When I call for the death penalty, am I undermining the judiciary because the Constitutional Court ruled that the death penalty is out? All you doing is appeasing the Muslims and Iran.
Based on the ANC's past performance, one can confidently predict that this project will fail, just as all other projects driven by the ANC, both nationally and provincially. Corruption and tenderpreneurship will undermine this initiative. @MYANC
Gauteng government will be taking over Gautrain as a fully paid asset at the end of March. How much do you trust government to single-handedly run Gautrain successfully. Join #TheSouthAfricanMorning on #eNCA as Gautrain CEO Tshepo Kgobe takes this conversation further. #DStv403.
@SABCNews President @CyrilRamaphosa, why was there no condemnation of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, given the thousands dying? South Africa must be consistent in its foreign policy. Why abstain on Russia when the USA views Iran as a global threat, acting similarly?
@DungaLeko Cape Town faced "Day Zero" due to low rainfall, while Johannesburg has enough water but struggles with poor infrastructure. This highlights the key difference between the two cities, and we recognize that the DA cannot create or deliver rainfall.
@MYANC@Our_DA
@PresidencyZA@CyrilRamaphosa Stop involving yourself in world politics and try to fix South Africa - high domestic violence & GBV, high police corruption, high government corruption, high murder and rape, collapse of SOEs, collapse of most municipalities - so F%# global politics and sort out your country
@MDNnewss I'm tired of the ANC blaming apartheid. The real issue is the ANC government and tenderpreneurs abusing state funds, with ongoing theft through illegal tenders. President @CyrilRamaphosa, you were there at the start as Vice-President
@eNCA It's the same old story, the typical election year speech that sounds tough but lacks substance. He says what he believes SAns want to hear, fully aware that nothing will actually come of it. What is evident from the political comments is that the DA has become "ANC light."
@geordinhl Can the DA explain why they support the ANC's policy of social engineering in the Western Cape by applying national demographics rather than regional demographics in employment or any other matters relating to race issues?
@HermanMashaba It's necessary because it will save lives - at times, taking that part of the N2 is playing with your life.
How do you propose to deal with the problem on that stretch of road on the route to Somerset West or the airport
@Our_DA
@Newzroom405@SilethiweNdlovu It must always be South Africans' first, whether in health, education, or housing.
Foreigners can be accommodated, but never at the expense of South Africans.
