Lady was on the pedestrian lane, pedestrian light signaling green. Even without those criteria, a human being walking has right of way. Lalahatin ko na, tangina nating mga naka kotse.
If na revise yung minimum parking reqs to accomodate non-car users (without adding additional slots)
1 slot = 4-5 motorcycles
1 slot = 5-8 bikes
1 slor = 2-3 e-trikes
Our cities would be more efficient & be a little neater.
Sobrang on point nung sinabi na inuuna yung pagbabawal versus yung paghahanap ng solusyon.
Restricting the use of e-trikes/e-bikes without understanding and acknowledging its role in the society limits our capability to come up with a more holistic approach in solving
Transportation is an enabling factor in cities that allow people to tap opportunities; to restrict it is to misunderstand the purpose of cities.
Sec. 19 of the Evida Law designates DOTr as the primary agency to regulate EVs; The LTO memo suspends the authority of MMDA and LGUs
Which really begs the question, do they really understand the underlying issue of the unbearable traffic during not just the Christmas season but whole year round?
To be honest, in all the years that they conduct this yearly meeting of “preparing” for the Christmas season, I haven’t seen anything concrete or substantial from MMDA or the malls. If anything the “solutions” that they come up with is just to cater only to themselves.
Classic definition of ano…doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.
This drama of everything except what makes the most sense to address road congestion and improve mobility, not just during the Christmas season, once and for all.
The fact that this is not a main talking point of candidates during their campaign and by seated officials on a regular basis is such a disservice to Filipinos.
The poll also showed that the Philippines is among the top three countries most concerned about transport-related expenses, which include the rising of fuel prices.

The relationship between jeeps and rail is complementary, not competitive
The comparison should be: Capacity of mass public transportation vs. low occupancy cars that dominate road space
Completion of rail projects + improvement of mass road-based PT = Less car dependence
pabalik ng terminal, wala rin, humahaba parin yung pila. These are times when you think, solving long commutes should really start by giving them priority on the road. Only then can we really evaluate if units are enough to serve the demand at desired headways. #CommutersNaman
What’s frustrating about road based transport here in the Philippines is that no matter how we improve and increase the fleet size (no. of units) on the road, it wouldn’t matter because they would all be stuck in traffic anyways.
Nakakapanghina na with all the adjustments people make in their daily commutes, they still end up in long lines and travel. Tulad nalang sa UV Express na sinasakyan ko, I think more than enough naman yung units pag umaga pero since sobrang nattraffic sila sa C5
Nakakasilaw! 🥵
Sobrang under appreciated parin talaga ng mga puno dito satin. Imagine how a few trees for shade can make a huge difference for this area.
Something I will never ever understand are footbridges at signalized intersections. You already have the system to let people cross safely so why still force them to climb up footbridges???
Okay help me understand why we can't have a big ❌️ pedestrian crossing over here. May MMDA naman palagi and may stop lights pa 😩
-im just a girl na pagod na mag overpass pls lang
Open streets, people's streets, car-free...it goes by many names but it's ultimately about making our cities more livable for people!
Join in celebrating #WorldCarFreeDay in any of these locations and let us know if we missed a spot (:
You break the law in JP, you're likely gonna be caught and the fines are exorbitant.
Dito, the moment people started to get caught for bad driving they've gotten used to over the years, takbo agad sa SC para ma-TRO yung NCAP lol. Ayun back to normal na walang nanghuhuli.
