@jayrusbeerus@PaulTripp Just like the book's author gives every character his own role, humans are given a role in God's plan. But the true paradox is for God to create injustice on Earth and then bring in his divine justice to rectify it.
@jayrusbeerus@PaulTripp Even if we think of Adam and Eve as symbolic "first people" who never existed in reality but who symbolize the primary sin, it's done according to God's plan. Not only he allowed it to happen but he knew all the rest of history.
@chesed1973 Shalom means peace, not war and oppression. Israel was created in 1948 on the land it doesn't own in any way. Since that time the Jewish population has increased tenfold.
@chesed1973 "Jews belong in the land of Israel" - exactly the religious pretext of taking away the land from their neighbors. "Those committed to destruction" - that's Israel. Multiple UN reports confirmed its war crimes.
@GroundedManhood To avoid losing the context of "morality", let's assume it's simply following the "golden rule", also known as the 2nd greatest commandment in Christianity. It's shared by many religions.
@marianagnche His letter is a farce - he tries to draw attention to himself once again. No concessions are mentioned, only "achievements" of his army. It shows that he is desperate right now, old methods don't work anymore.
@Adam_FaithfulM "After the resurrection" - there is no proof of that. It sounds as a myth. Why would God choose a small planet in the universe to die for humans ?
@jayrusbeerus@PaulTripp God created people sinful, then he reveals to them how to refrain from sin more effectively and at that moment they feel his grace and mercy. What's the point of making people sinful in the first place ?
@ScottRoberts "The exclusive claims of Christians", you mean. Similar to "my faith is the only one correct" and "accept Christ or you'll go to hell" :)
@Twin2Nthabi And not fight with the evil ? If someone oppresses you, then you just forgive them ? It's easy to say give your anger to God but in practice it doesn't work always that way.
@GaryAdams713 How do you know that hell is real ? This concept is an invention of Christianity and it's not present in other religions, even in Torah (Old Testament).
@TheBelieverJC Nonsense is saying "believe the Bible as an absolute truth". Any legend you take from there- it has no proof. So persuading people to accept ancient beliefs and not to use common sense is useless.
@OmegaMessage Believing in myths and legends is normal in modern society, it's a religion. But don't rush with the "evil" attributes. Christians are too quick with that.
