@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst His appearance to the main plot was pretty pointless outside of look it’s him. But that’s all you want in your franchises is pointless fanservice
@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst Everything has its time and Tommy Lee jones being in the next one would make no sense. He’s 80 now and god knows how old he will be if and when they get round to filming another. Makes no sense he’d still be working for them and do we really want him out of the suit?
@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst Earnie Hudson just stood around the last 2 movies. Tommy Lee was involved a lot more physically In 1,2 and 3. They said they will be moving on from the old guard in the next gb movie anyway
I’d expect you to like Jp dominion’s use of the original trio as you like pointless cameos
@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst There is a ton of running around and fighting in mib. Way more taxing. Do we really need another Jurassic park:dominion where they are brought back and given nothing interesting to do? Fuck that!
It’s very easy to cast yourself when you put up the $$ to make yourself a producer
@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst last one was filmed when he was 76 and Earnie just stood around and pretty redundant to the plot. Men in black is more taxing. Plus he barely was in 3. Having him return just because is terrible fanservice
He’s barely been able to get work since slapgate. Only 2 films cast since
@WhoPotterVian@L_C_Hurst Both of those franchises are irrelevant in 2026. Too long since the last
Jumanji will get destroyed by dune and doomsday taking up all the premium screens.
Tommy Lee jones is 80 and way too old to do anything action based.
smith’s career is heading southward since the slap
@WhoPotterVian@willmgreenhalgh The budget was high but it’s offering something original and is willing to swing for the fences and should be admired be given a chance regardless of what you hear or how it performed.
Anything that offers an alternative to endless sequels/superhero films should be supported
@WhoPotterVian@willmgreenhalgh But considering what the movie is about revealing what the film is about is revealing its secrets.
I watch numerous films not knowing anything going in other than oh is it that guy/girl going in and it’s never effected my experiences or made me walk out
@WhoPotterVian@willmgreenhalgh Stop putting so much stock in most likely made up test screenings! Stop being a sheep and make up your own mind on it.
Trailers shouldn’t reveal all it’s secrets. Some films work better when you know next to nothing going in. This is one of them
@WhoPotterVian@willmgreenhalgh Again most “test screenings” are made up. Plus some real ones are reported with axes to grind in this case the film being pro left.
You want to be part of the tv/film industry and yet you dismiss things based upon other opinions instead of giving it a go yourself.
@WhoPotterVian@willmgreenhalgh So you are basing your opinion and thoughts about the movie based upon what you hear from test audiences. That explains a lot! Test audiences are rubbish for the most part and some are even made up. Make up your own minds rather on the whim of everybody else.
@WhoPotterVian@Hitchemus Probably because you wanted something familiar as per usual regurgated slop. It’s a refreshing change going into something and the trailer doesn’t spoil half the movie prior
