I was simply stating that it surely must be possible to have "being a subscriber" allow opting out of the "receiving textless covers". I mainly do it for the savings and because my local stockist is too far to go when I’m not already there.

The entirety of my original point was simply that I wouldn’t necessarily object to a reduction in content without a reduction in price if that was what was necessary to keep the magazine going.

(Even now I mostly just read the text and only use the pictures to identify who is saying each line, just as I do with all comic content.)

@benjamin_cook @daveisageneric @Praxeus_stan @abitdickensian You’re still doing better percentagewise than the DVDs and BDs ever did/do, given they usually only got/get the episodes, info text, iso scores and photo galleries (and escape rooms and location/studio footage) plus a very occasional other piece of VAM!

I was simply stating that I am certainly one person who would not object to a reduction in page count without a proportionate reduction in cost. I already subscribe to read less than half of each issue as it is!

@benjamin_cook @daveisageneric @Praxeus_stan @abitdickensian I don’t think it’s missing anything per se; it’s more just I’m rarely interested in interviews; reviews of products I’ve not experienced are functionally meaningless until I experience them; and it is rather difficult discussing new episodes when there aren’t any!

It is very difficult finding the correct issues for particular articles when the covers are all just generic photos only relevant to a small part of that issue with no information as to the rest of the contents.
