I’m heartbroken by the horrific tragedy in Uvalde. As a mother, I cannot imagine the pain and devastation being felt by the victims’ families as a result of this senseless violence. May God be with them and comfort them during this time of unthinkable sadness.

@gamndood @BlichBeerGeek I hear ya. It’s hot here and I thought about it but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. My brewpi just kicked the bucket and I replaced it with an Inkbird. The brewpi was great but it was overkill. As I get busier I am finding I am opting for what is reliable.

@PourBrewer Smells amazing so far. I stuck to the recipe but missed the OG slightly at 1.051. It was a BIAB setup. Who knows what was off. I went ahead and pitched normal as a result... I’ll keep you posted.

@pfowl01_paul Have you been repitching? If so, do the ferments seem better than with a starter based ferment?

@pfowl01_paul Gotcha. Similar to my method. I hold at 60 for what seems like a long time (at least a week) to get the diacetyl out. I used to crash but this time around I ramped down slow and kegged (w/bio fine). I’m worried there’s still acetaldehyde in there and the biofine ended cleanup
