As a leader don't let your followers pay the price of your insecurity.

There some of us because of how insecure we've become we've not let gifts under us find expression.

We call it keeping them in check, making them humble, testing their loyalty.

But hath the table turned, if it were us being cage in such manner we wouldn't be able to tolerate.

There are leaders who can't stand the giftings of their followers.

A time should come when followers should be sent out.

I've seen in several places how certain gifts have been shut because of the insecurity of the Man of the God.

And if you're such a follower the moment your gift finding experience (when given the opportunity ofcourse) You're being seen as a rebel or labeled as one.

As leaders we must learn how to manage the gift of God in us, and around us.

Even in certain businesses like the igbos do, they'll set free their boys after 7years and established them.

For the case of Jacob in scripture he had to serve twice 7years + 7years..

14years...

Some of your sons have served more than 14years and some of you are yet to established them or let them loose.

As fathers, It is in our power to make a Son prodigal or Not.

When a son over stays their time, offense are bound to keep happening.

Meanwhile not every follower will leave you. By God's design there are some who will stay with you till the end.

Learn to identify those kinds and they do so willingly, without grudge or offense.

Sometimes take out time and have honest conversation with your sons and followers.

Understand that "that a son has left you doesn't make them rebels or mean that they are no longer your son, or followers"

Sometimes the ones far away from you are more of a son and faithful follower than the ones in your house. You just don't know yet.

We could use the Prodigal son as a case study but that will open us into another chapter, cos just look at what the son who we thought was more faithful staying with father had to say..

Some of you, if only you know the hearts of those you call your sons that are around you, you'd be shocked.

Some of them have a lot of things to say about you that they are not saying.

Create a safe space for certain levels of deep conversations. Heart to heart Check.

There should be balance in service.

On a good day we'll host a Space on THE TWO KIND OF SONS.

cos what many of us think is that the one who left was prodigal son as we call him, but then the one who didn't leave that stayed with the Father was more prodigal the the younger.

They were both the same thing, they both needed the same thing... One was bold to say it out and this is the one that usually is termed the rebellious one.

What he only lacked was the Power to maintain and Manage Wealth, that's the Wisdom.

Let's leave that for another

Now the reason why the sons who are away are far away is because there's the gift of God in them crying out for the nations that your insecurity couldn't manage.

They had to go anyways and do the work of He that hath sent them.

But then you consider them rebels.

No sir! It was your insecurity and also lack of discernment of times and season.

And God will go beyond your ego to do that which he wills and his agenda.

I can bet there are some of your followers who wished you saw this message and considered it deeply.

Don't let the gift of Men around you suffer because of your Insecurity.

Insecurity is a big issue today and this is as a Result of the Jealousy of Fathers.

Usually things like this can cause a delay in the move of God, can delay the destiny of a one crying out for the nations.

Equip them, give them the required wisdom, manage your insecurity. Trust God for them and Send them Out.

Surprisingly those people saying to you to go know God for yourself with ulterior motives, in as much as they were actually pulling you away from the thing that was actually making you God more, they have never thought you God before in that manner that they are now so much concerned about your knowledge of God.

You already know it's something different. It's not from a place of sincerity of wanting you to know God truely.

I've seen this over and over again with several people around so I can tell you this.

The are not really interested in you knowing, they are only interested in stopping you from listening to certain kind of Preachers other than themselves. They get threatened when the attention shifts away from them to certain others.

Be Mindful of such a one.

Eventually you adhere to their advice like I said and you come with a knowing of God revealed to you by God, they are not even present to play the role of guiding you or bringing understanding to your Light.

They even the first to disapprove of your revelation about God and invalidate it saying "That's not God"

Of such a one, desist.

KNOW GOD FOR YOURSELF??

It's amazing how we are told "know God for yourself" "Be like the berean" Or "have a personal relationship with God"

And the moment you take that advice seriously and start seeking the LORD and you come out with a certain level of revelation the Lord must have given you when you went to "Know God for yourself" Encountering him..

Those same people are the ones who comes and tell you that's not God.

It is either they never wanted you to really take that advice seriously- going to KNOW GOD for yourself, or in their insecurity, gave such advice because they noticed you started listening and paying attention to a certain Man of God giving you the kind of revelation they are yet to come into and understand...

The insecurity here is that they are not the one feeding you spiritual and they would have love to.

But they don't yet have what it takes to command your attention.

So in order to discret whosoever your attention is drawn to, they give you certain advice that seemingly looks as though they care for you or paint a picture that the one you're now paying attention to is heretic.

Sometimes it is out of jealousy and envy, other times it is insecurity.

So even if I am to tell you to know God for yourself? With what intent?

Cos it seems to be a good advice, but with what intent.

Indeed there comes a time when Man should have a personal relationship with their Maker, connecting to the LORD via his Holy Spirit that is in them.

And when you come and listen to people like us, we also let you know this, that you also are gods, the spirit of the Holy One is in You.

The aim of this post is to let you think and question intents as you journey in the Christian walk and also in your desire to ascend in revelation, in the knowledge of God.

So if I were to tell you this - Know God for yourself

what is it that is expected of me?

When you come with a strange dimension of God that you might have encountered during your personal walk with God..

Just like the Philip to the Ethiopian Eunuch, We bring Guidance, we bring understanding to that which you must have found out..

If I open the scripture now I'll begin to see another thing..

You see! Sometimes I don't get to open scriptures cos I know I will start seeing things...

So as I told you and I am saying.. With what intent are we as preachers do tell when we say things like this... Things like Go know God for yourself..

Some may even add as I've heard severally.. They'll I pity those listening to some preachers (as if they themselves aren't being listened to by some others)

"You better go and know God yourself "

I'm teaching you how to judge intent and know it for yourself, know it not to tell but to keep for your personal use as you navigate through life, even spirituality.

I'm giving you what to think now, cos most of you might not have been able to pay attention to this matter not until now..

So when next you people using that phrase you want to reconsider...

Coming out with such revelation haven encountered God, the same people telling you to know God for yourself are the same ones who comes and tell you that's not Goda(i.e the revelation you got about God isn't God).
