🛥️ A rare manta ray was spotted feeding on a school of small fish in the turquoise blue waters off South Padre Island over the Fourth of July weekend.
Charter captain Michael Rasco said it's the first time in 17 years on the water that he's seen such a "humongous" ray swimming so close to shore.

Egypt coach Hossam Hassan did not mince words in criticizing the officiating in his team's wild round of 16 loss to Argentina, saying The Pharaohs "suffered injustice" regarding a controversial call that disallowed a goal.
"I think the affect of this outcome goes beyond the defeated seat. We haven’t seen respect nor fair play," Hassan said, through FIFA translation. "I’m not convinced with this outcome, with the way things unfolded in this match. I do not want to try to put it nicely with beautiful wording, selective words, saying hard luck and so and so forth. We’ve been treated unfairly today. We’ve suffered injustice."

JESSE MARSCH’S EMOTIONAL MESSAGE ❤️🤍
The Canada manager met the moment after the nation’s first knockout win at a men’s World Cup, delivering an emotional tribute to his team on the field after their historic victory over South Africa on Sunday.
“Guys, think about the two years we’ve been together, Marsch said. “Think about how we talked about sticking to the plan, sticking to who we want to be. Playing aggressive. Accessing our quality. You guys showing your character. You guys are Canadian heroes today. Canadian heroes, for the future children of this country, who play the sport. The sport has a big future because of you guys. You should be so proud of who you are. You should be so proud of this game. You never lost belief. You went after it. Point after point, moment after moment. You are Canadian heroes.” 🇨🇦
Talarico: Every bar has that one guy. He’s loud, he’s obnoxious, he makes all the women in the bar feel uncomfortable. He hears you say your name to the bartender and then adds his drink to your tab when you’re not looking.
That’s Ken Paxton.
And I don’t know about y’all, but I’m done picking up his tab.
Year 15.
After taking some time to reflect, I’ve realized this season was never just about basketball.
Life has a way of reminding you that nothing is promised. Every game, every conversation, every challenge, and every person you cross paths with is a gift we’re often too quick to assume will always be there.
This season taught me to stop chasing what I can’t control and to embrace what God has already placed in front of me. The victories, the disappointments, the pain, and the growth were never separate chapters. They were all part of the same story.
And of course, I’ve learned that peace doesn’t come from getting everything you want. It comes from knowing you gave everything you had and trusting God with the rest.
I’m incredibly proud of our group, from our coaches to every single player. To come together and accomplish what we did is something its something be grateful for. Of course, you always hope for a great ending of the season, but life doesn’t always unfold the way we want it to… and that’s okay.
Because God’s faithfulness isn’t determined by the outcome. His faithfulness is revealed through the journey.
The older I get, the less I measure my life by the seasons I’ve played and the more I measure it by the man God is shaping me to become.
Here’s to gratitude. Here’s to growth. Here’s to embracing every moment we’re given.
And yes… here’s to some good wine. 🍷
The President just threw another tantrum, and this time he is jeopardizing the biggest housing bill in three decades.
Less than two hours before he was set to sign it into law, Trump canceled the signing ceremony. Why?
Because he wants Congress to first pass a voter suppression bill that his own party admits does not have the votes. So he is holding housing relief hostage for an impossible demand.
The housing bill was a rare bipartisan win, after months of negotiation and both chambers on board. We just passed it in the House, 358 to 32. Republicans and Democrats standing together to finally do something about the cost of a roof over your head.
And Trump walked away from it.
Once again, he torched a victory he could have claimed, all because the spotlight was not pointed where he wanted it.
This is a grown man holding us all hostage to soothe his own ego. While families scrape together rent and watch home prices climb out of reach, the President decided his grievances mattered more than their futures.
He is at war with reality. People deserve a President who shows up to do the work, not one who throws a tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. We will keep fighting to get this done, with or without him.

BREAKING: RED ALERT! Anti-ICE protestors in Texas get sentenced to FIFTY YEARS IN PRISON by a Trump-appointed judge in an outrageous North Korean-style kangaroo court to punish free speech!
This should terrify every one of us…
A group of nine protestors were convicted of bullshit terrorism charges from a Fourth of July protest at an immigrant detention facility in Alvarado, Texas, south of Fort Worth.
The protestors had fireworks to set off in solidarity with those poor individuals detained inside. Police arrived and immediately escalated the situation, leading to the slashing of tires of ICE vehicles, and breaking a security camera.
One protestor fired a shot at one of the guards, hitting him in the arm, in order to stop him from shooting one of the protesters.
Benjamin Song, the shooter, received 100 years in prison.
His fellow protesters Zachary Evetts, Autumn Hill, Savanna Batten, Elizabeth Soto and Meagan Morris were sentenced to 50 years in prison. Maricela Rueda, another demonstrator, was sentenced to 70 years in prison.
In comparison, the leader of the Proud Boys received 22 years in prison for attacking the Capitol on January 6th.
All six were convicted of riot, providing material support to terrorists, and explosive charges.
Three of the defendants weren’t involved in the planning and left after the guards told them to; one of them WASN’T EVEN THERE but got 30 years in prison for “moving leftwing zines.”
The judge stacked the charges together and gave outrageously long sentences to the protesters, who were smeared as “antifa.”
As if you needed any more proof, the Trump-appointed judge said explicitly said he was handing down maximum sentences to "send a message" to anyone else who shares this ideology of caring for other people and exercising their rights to protest.
The implications of this are DEEPLY disturbing. “If you’ve ever worn black to a protest, used Signal, or carried a first aid kit, a federal jury just decided that can all be evidence of terrorism,” writes organizer Hannah Riley Fernandez on Twitter.
With Trump judges installed across the country, Trump and his goons are clearly ready to hand down massive sentences in kangaroo courts in order to brutally punish anyone who dares to protest his appalling persecution of immigrants.
Fascism has come to America.
BREAKING: Rep. Ted Lieu humiliates MAGA U.S. Attorney Judge Jeanine for threatening to charge the nonexistent “vandals” dumping imaginary chemicals into the Reflecting Pool.
This is EXACTLY how you handle these lying lunatics…
“I guarantee that @JudgeJeanine will not charge anyone for dumping chemicals into the reflecting pool. Because if they had any evidence they would be parading it around 24/7,” Lieu wrote on X in response to a clip of Pirro ranting on Fox News.
“The reality is Trump screwed up the reflecting pool by overpaying on a no bid contract to an amateur,” he added.
The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool has become a defining debacle for the Trump administration in recent weeks. The President boasted that he was going to beautify the pool while slamming Obama for failing to do so. Trump poured $14.7 million of your tax dollars into the project, only for the algae to bloom more vividly than ever before. The entire pool turned a sickly green color, at which point Trump’s minions began dumping hydrogen peroxide into the water, exacerbating the discoloration. Soon after, strips of blue lining began to flake and dislodge from the pool’s lining.
Rather than admit that he made a mistake by handing the renovation contracts to shady, incompetent firms — including one operated by a convicted felon — Trump has begun insisting that "sick" and "deranged" vandals are to blame. Pirro has eagerly embraced the insane narrative.
"Anyone who is in a position of vandalizing or attempting to vandalize will face the criminal justice system in D.C.," she said. “Look, the president has made it a priority to make D.C. not only safe, but beautiful.”
Obviously, nobody is vandalizing the pool. Trump and Pirro know that, but they also know that the Republican base is gullible enough to believe anything that Trump says. They bought his lies about the 2020 election without a shred of evidence and now they’re eagerly gobbling up this Reflecting Pool propaganda.
Our best recourse is do what Congressman Lieu is doing: call them out at every turn. Republicans won’t listen to us, but the Independents who decide elections will!
Please ❤️ and share if you’re loving this Reflecting Pool saga!
I have to do another video on the reflective pool debacle. They are trying to say it was sabotaged by the left. They are unable to see a flaw in their God king. The Trump administration dumped hydrogen peroxide to kill the algae and it stripped the paint.

BREAKING: The MAGA bozo responsible for Trump's disastrous Reflecting Pool "renovations" is exposed — and his company is literally named "Greenwater Services."
Meet John Cafaro.
Despite looking like a 1950s cartoon mobster, this is a real, flesh-and-blood human being from Trump's inner circle. He's also a convicted felon who previously pleaded guilty to bribing a member of Congress.
Cafaro received a $1.7 million no-bid contract to install a water-purification system in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Normally, the National Park Service would have a robust open bidding process to find the most reasonably priced, most competent contractor. Instead, the job was entrusted into Cafaro's sweaty mitts without much scrutiny.
The details of that contract are murky, like everything else involving this administration, so it's safe to presume that there was a healthy dose of corruption and graft involved. It's no coincidence that Cafaro just happens to be a big Trump donor and a Mar-a-Lago neighbor. He's given at least $300,000 to PACs tied to the President.
Like everyone else in Trump's circle, Cafaro has proven to be exceptionally incompetent. The Reflecting Pool is now a cesspit of algae and looks greener than ever before. Another company unrelated to Cafaro received the $14.7 million no-bid contract to install blue waterproofing material in the pool. That firm likewise did an incredibly poor job, as chunks of the material are now peeling away and floating to the surface.
This is how things work in third world dictatorships. Cronies and political allies are awarded contracts to reward them for their loyalty to the regime and there's no expectation that they'll ever fulfill the work to proper specifications.
The administration, rather than admit their failure, has taken to posting fake pictures on social media while insisting that the water is crystal clear.
We have eyes. We can see how bad it's gotten.
Please ❤️ and share to demand a full investigation into the Reflecting Pool contracts!
My friend Jamie Raskin is one of the most careful and principled people in Congress. So when he says the director of the FBI may be running a taxpayer funded slush fund, I pay attention.
Here is what he found.
Kash Patel directed more than $1 million in bonus payments to a small circle of agents in his inner circle and on his security detail.
Some were getting nearly $8,000 every two weeks on top of salaries that were already maxed out at the federal ceiling. A number of them collected close to $40,000 over consecutive pay periods.
The payments came so fast that the FBI’s bonus reserve accounts ran dry and some checks bounced.
So who got the money?
Agents on Patel’s so-called "director’s advisory team."
That is the unit created in 2025 and described internally as a payback squad, built to dig up dirt on the law enforcement officials who investigated Trump and his allies.
Raskin has given Patel until June 29 to account for every payment, every recipient, and any internal review of whether this was even legal.
Patel should answer for all of it.
