This week we saw Americans around the country demand accountability from their district attorneys. Like in Shelby County, they demanded top prosecutors focus on prosecuting instead of soft-on-crime Restorative Justice Schemes. To Make Memphis Matter, we must do the same.

I’m not fighting to hold our district attorney accountable because it’s enjoyable. I assure you I’d rather spend my time focusing on other things! But to make Memphis and Shelby County a place where families are safe and people can build businesses in peace, I must focus on making sure our district attorney does his job. Not only are my constituents demanding it, but justice requires we hold criminals accountable so victims are honored.

There is more to come on this front, and I ask that you continue to make your voices heard and demand tough-on-crime measures out of our district attorney’s office.

Here is yet another good article showing Americans rejecting Soros-funded progressive DAs. We realized very quickly in Shelby County what happens when a DA is more focused on soft-on-crime Restorative Justice Schemes than on aggressively prosecuting and putting criminals behind bars.

To Make Memphis Matter, it is time for the General Assembly to hold our DA accountable. The public is demanding it and justice demands it.
