YouTuber Ruby Franke was sentenced to up to 60 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple counts of aggravated child ab—se.

The ab—se came to light when her youngest son escaped from the home with duct tape around his wrists and ankles. He told authorities that Franke had tied him up and put cayenne pepper and honey on his wounds.

Franke admitted to k—cking her son while wearing boots and dunking his head underwater.

She also made her children to perform physical labor outside in the summer heat without enough food or water, leaving them with severe sunburns. They were made to stand barefoot on hot pavement as punishment.

Her 9-year-old daughter was also forc—d to jump into a cactus and run barefoot along dirt roads.

"My charges are just. They offer safety to my family, accountability to the public, and they did show mercy to me," she said during sentencing.
