@ScubaOfficial Haven't tried Slate or others. Airwindows stuff is free/donationware and lots of variation for different analog tones. Harison Mixbus has good warm analog emulation, soft around the edges in a pleasing way, can be pretty lush.
@sk33mask I agree, although classes can still be valuable. I would never teach people one "correct" way to make music, rather show possibilities and open doors for them to go forward. And not everyone learns the same way, some are motivated to learn alone, some want or need guidance.
