A busy start to our second half of term, getting the garden ready for planting. We used our own compost to prep the garden beds, cleaned out the garden shed and got planting some bulbs. #learningforsustainability
Staff, past and present, came together to complete the 18 miles of the Kiltwalk to raise money for our lovely wee school! We have been overwhelmed by the response of our local community. We have raised over Β£1300 so far! Thank you! #kiltwalk#aberdeenshire#teamwork
A fantastic final day at Nethybridge with @BerviePS. A packed day, including raftbuilding and Jacob's Ladder and concluding with a fire with S'mores.
All ready to head home for Activities Day tomorrow!
Day 2 at Nethybridge with @BerviePS continues with bushcraft, canoeing and archery. Some budding survivalists amongst us, and all are excited for another exciting, action-packed day!

Great to have our chess club back up and running in the community, after such a long covid-related hiatus. The youngsters are having an excellent time, and continue to develop their chess skills.
We've been getting out and about to learn. Yesterday, it was Maths at the beach with P4 investigating square numbers and P1/2 investigating repeated addition and creating clocks. Today, a lovely spring walk and we found frog spawn! Lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
Updated plans for school inspections announced. HM Inspectors of Education will not resume the routine early learning and childcare and school inspection programme as originally planned https://t.co/7OEj35V1fr
P567 had an excellent time last week enjoying their hot chocolate reward.
Each of the 3 tables earned the maximum 250 points last term, entitling everyone in the class to Hot Chocolate and marshmallows! #Aberdeenshire
Thank you to @johnshavenps for joining us at the start of your exciting week for our mental well-being #SCARF live online workshops - such a lot of feelings to discuss.
Yesterday, the children enjoyed visiting the @NEOS_uk artists exhibiting in the village. We are lucky to have two of our talented grannies taking part. We were transfixed by Hilary's pottery throwing and loved the colours of Morag Smith's beautiful paintings.#Aberdeenshire
The children were very excited to welcome HRH Prince Charles to Johnshaven on Monday for the official opening of the Lobster Shop. The sun shone and even the dolphins were jumping near the harbour! @johnshavenlobstershop
