PARTICULARS ON COMPANY BUSINESS LETTERS

The Commission wishes to inform the General Public, Esteemed Customers, and in particular, Companies registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 (or any enactment repealed by the Act), that commencing the 1s* day of August 2026, the Commission shall enforce the full application of the requirements of sections 304(1) & (2) and 729 (1)(c) of the Act with respect to company business letters with attendant sanctions for non-compliance.

Companies are to note that the Act requires every company so registered to state on its business letters and in legible characters, the present forename or initials and surname; any former forename and surname; and nationality (for non-Nigerians) with respect to every director as well as the company's name, registration number and registered address.

The Commission remains committed to transparency, accountability and customer satisfaction as it strives to build a more resilient and responsive corporate regulatory environment.

210 Trillion Naira is trending because The Senate discovered ₦210trn and ₦3.8trn missing in NNPC from 2017-2023, and summoned ex NNPC boss, Mele Kyari for explanations.

This is how NNPC claims ₦210 dissapeared;

They casually signed off a whole ₦210trn. According to the Senate; NNPC had ₦103trn in Accrued Expenses (Debt) and ₦107trn in Receiveables (ie: the people owing NNPC, the investments proceeds that were not yet in. Basically all the money outside that’s in their favour.) — let’s call it (Asset).

The Senate is saying, these two monies (₦210) are not traceable, they can’t find where it went to or came from and the ones they are seeing are not making any sense, and NNPC’s explanations is contradicting what is in the books.

Essentially, the book doesn’t explain the movement of the ₦210trn.

Meanwhile NNPC is saying, they have not yet received all their (Asset) outside. Thereby making, the Accrued (Debt) and Receivable (Asset) almost the same thing.

But when they reconcile it. (Get their money back and pay debts) the book will balance., Simple maths.

— But the senate said it wasn’t making sense. Because why did they sign it off if they had not received it. You get?

In a diplomatic way, the senate is saying, they have played with the books. And that’s what Peter Obi leveraged on in July 2025 when the case started, to call Nigeria a Crime Scene.

However, when the Debt and Assets are finally reconciled, the surplus will be ₦4trn. Which by the looks of it is also missing.

Because, there is no clear path to where it went to or where it is coming from. Because someone signed it all off as cleared. Meaning, IF the money eventually comes, it won’t be recorded. — You see the problem?

For fairness, let’s just say ₦210trn did not miss, it just wasn’t explained properly by NNPC.

Thats why now, 10 months later, the senate is asking NNPC to refund the ₦210trn money since they couldn’t explain it, thus the summoning of Mele Kyari for another chance at redemption.

Thanks to the efforts of our security forces over the last few days, all the 38 worshippers abducted in Eruku, Kwara State have been rescued.

I am equally happy that 51 out of the missing students of the Catholic School in Niger State, have been recovered.

I am closely monitoring the security situation nationwide and receiving continuous updates from the frontline.

Let me be clear: I will not relent. Every Nigerian, in every state, has the right to safety — and under my watch, we will secure this nation and protect our people.
