@bjohnsonEDU Very true! Part of the “grit” that I teach yearly is plain life skills. We want students to grow up and be productive adults, not all parents show that example so I make it a part of my class.

@bjohnsonEDU I’m actually referring to the ones that are capable of mastering anything in life but feel that they do not have to do the work, years of being passed to the next level while doing no work is not teaching our students about life. They can not go jnto the work force and do that.
