i usually:
-use official docs to learn (without taking notes).
-look for projects that will force me to apply the things i didn't understand.
-Refer to the docs, YouTube, google and other resources like AIs etca to complete the project.
-Journal the process to assess my progress.

As a developer why don't people do Freelancing when they can earn more by doing it. Does it require more skills? Or do people want security which is in the jobs. I don't understand it.
