🙉🙈🙊 THE NEW DAY AT THE SEC IS ABOLISH ALL TRANSPARENCY
When Paul Atkins became SEC Chairman he promised a
"New Day at the SEC."
We all thought when he said
"hold accountable those who lie, cheat, and steal."
was the new day. But clearly we were wrong.
THE NEW DAY AT THE SEC WAS ABOLISH TRANSPARENCY SO WE DON'T SEE WHO LIE, CHEATS, AND STEALS ‼️
Trump and Vance just rolled out a $25 million program to pay Americans $10,000–$30,000 for tips that expose federal fraud and lead to charges.
I want every thief locked up. But let’s be honest.
We already fund the FBI, DOJ, IRS, inspectors general, and entire agencies with billions of our tax dollars. Their job is to find this stuff.
Now the government is literally offering us reward money to do the work we’ve already paid them to do.
What the hell have they been doing?
And here’s the real test.
Will this same energy hit powerful corporations, government contractors, and politically connected operators stealing through contracts and subsidies? Or will it mostly land on ordinary people gaming benefits while the big players keep cashing checks?
Fraud is fraud. Doesn’t matter if it’s a benefits scammer or a billion-dollar contractor.
I support catching every single one of them. No exceptions. No protected classes. No sacred cows.
But if taxpayers are now doing the investigative work, maybe Congress needs to explain why we’re still dumping billions into agencies that apparently need the public to help them spot the obvious!
I reckon the first place someone should report is Capitol Hill!
How come the DOJ has wasted the last two years and nobody of political significance has been arrested?
Where are the arrests? Can anybody show me a single person who has been arrested?
You can’t. Because the DOJ has been nothing but a failure let’s be honest.
You know it's bad when the victims are only asking for transparency and it's been refused for nearly 4 years.
If MMTLP investors are wrong, what do the regulators have to hide?
BTW, I don't need to see the data or personal information, just show the former CEOs and the proper authorities!
🚨 BREAKING: The White House just told middle-class Americans exactly where their paychecks have been going, and it's infuriating.
From the podium: "If you're a middle class taxpayer in this country, before President Trump came along, you spent half your working life paying for fraudsters and scammers."
Think about that. You paid every parking ticket and did everything the right way. Meanwhile, fake day cares billed for kids who didn't exist, and the crooks bought Mercedes, BMWs and mansions on your dime.
The administration says it's already recovered a quarter of a trillion dollars and is aiming for a trillion.
The looting is over. Time to take it all back.
After more than a year and a half of investor outcry and Congressional inquiries concerning FINRA's U3 halt of MMTLP in December 2022...
The @SECGov filed charges against the former CEOs for allegedly creating a scheme (that the SEC reviewed and made effective) relating to the reverse-merger in June 2021, completely ignoring the complaints and inquiries concerning December 2022.
The SEC clearly used these charges to put an end to Congressional support.
(image 1)
Courts have already ruled that what Overstock did, (which broker-dealers called a scheme to punish short sellers) wasn't against the law.
The SEC knows the outcome of that case but they brought a similar case against the former CEOs of Torchlight and Metamaterials and it also appears to be the aim of their MMTLP investigation.
Evidence shows that FINRA broke their own rules, but the SEC's FINRA Oversight has completely ignored this.
Next Bridge Hydrocarbons has requested to meet with the SEC numerous times but every request has been ignored. (image 2)
But when the FIF requested to meet about Next Bridge's subscription rights offering and how it might cause problems for broker-dealers, the SEC met with them immediately even though the SEC admitted that they shouldn't have been discussing those issues. (images 3 & 4) @TheJusticeDept@FBI
Eric Werner and Marshall Gandy were co-Regional Directors of the Fort Worth office when that office was seemingly communicating with FINRA's OTC Corporate Actions Team.
Fast forward to 2024 and Eric Werner is officially named Director, and he supervised the SEC investigation that resulted in charges against @palikaras, Metamaterials and @johnbrda.
Gandy meanwhile is also in the SEC's Dividend of Examinations with Kevin W. Goodman, he's the guy in charge of FINRA oversight.
So "if" it was the Fort Worth office communicating with FINRA's OTC Corporate Actions Team, and maybe they convinced FINRA to modify the MMTLP Corporate Action, how easy would it be for Gandy to convince Goodman to NOT look into FINRA overstepping their authority, modifying the MMTLP Corporate Actions...
Just thinking out loud!
It's not difficult to recognize that @FINRA defrauded the issuer and investors of MMTLP.
Observe how the "Exchanged" Event Type Corporate Actions in images 1 & 2 describe an "Exchange" becoming "EFFECTIVE" on a date that matches the "EFFECTIVE DATE" at the top of the Corporate Action.
Then observe the two MMTLP Corporate Actions in image 3.
Notice that the "Exchange" is described in the initial Corporate Action as:
"MMTLP shareholders with settled positions as of 12/12/22 Record Date will receive one (1) share of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, Inc. for every one (1) share of MMTLP held on Pay Date of 12/14/22."
This is almost the equivalent of saying:
"Effective 12/14/22 at the close of business, MMTLP will be Exchanged for Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares on a 1:1 basis."
☝🏾 The problem with first MMTLP Corporate Action is that FINRA didn't make "12/14/22, after the close of business" the time and date for the overall "Effective Date and time" at the top of the Corporate Action...
Instead they used "Effective 00:00:00 12/13/22" 40 hours earlier, and they incorrectly linked this to MMTLP share cancellation which should've matched the "12/14/22, after the close of business" time and date.
Image 4 is Next Bridge Hydrocarbons explaining that it was FINRA that introduced"12/13/22".
The video 🎥 linked in the quote post explains this in detail, but I'll post another comment below this if you prefer not to watch. @VP
If the MMTLP spin-off would've went as planned, every holder of MMTLP would've received shares of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons, 1-for-1 for each share of MMTLP, on or after 12/14/22, after the close of business.
Even though there wasn't supposed to be an official cusip, what happens when a brokerage is allocated 1 million Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares, but they actually need 2 million shares?
The problem is not as easy to hide in a scenario like this!
But if brokerages are told that the shares are getting cancelled and the trading symbol is being deleted effective 00:00:00 12/13/22, 40 hours before the planned 1-for-1 Exchange...
This allows each brokerage to create their own cusip/identifiers to exchange with MMTLP before what should've been the official 1-for-1 exchange. (images 1 & 2)
So when investors are holding MMTLPWB and MMTZZZ on 12/13/22, and being told by @RobinhoodApp and @WebullGlobal that those are official Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares, it was a clearly a lie! (images 3 & 4)
What reinforces the fact that investors were lied to is that brokerages made it seem perfectly reasonable that investors could've received their Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares on 12/13/22, but when the Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares were officially allocated on 12/14/22, the multiple changes to the dummy cusip/identifiers didn't begin until around 12/30/22.
The video 🎥 linked in the quote post explains how a similar situation from 2014 appears to explain how brokerages, regulators and their committee members use tactics like this to hide imbalances.
@EverettStern1@SecScottBessent@BankofAmerica $MMTLP
What say you SEC. Bessent?
This is what you signed up for sir. Between Wallstreet and our Banking system our entire financial system is being looted. You're a smart man that has been put in charge of cleaning up America's syndicated crime system. Thank you in advance sir.
In response to a comment below...
The charges filed against John Brda and George Palikaras were only official in June of 2024, AFTER the MMTLP Community gained Congressional traction.
An investigation doesn't mean charges will be filed.
I've made many posts about the investigation dating back to 2021. But since the commenter chose to bring up the fact that there was an ongoing SEC investigation since 2021, maybe he can explain why FINRA processed the MMTLP Corporate Action if according to their Rule 6490, investigations are reasons to NOT process a Corporate Action.
In the last image you can see that the @SECGov was clearly trying to communicate details of this investigation to @RepRalphNorman before it was made public...
Something that Gary Gensler and the SEC claims they never do!
Facts matter!
@Giftsonglass Yep, this slide is directly from @PeteSessions claiming he sent a letter to @FINRA on 12/6/22 regarding the MMTLP Corporate Action.
He apparently received a response the same day!
Can we see the letter Pete?
The problem with David Woodcock being the @SECGov's Director of Enforcement is that he was also the SEC Fort Worth Regional Director from 2011 to 2015.
SEC Fort Worth is the region that filed charges against @johnbrda and @palikaras over the Torchlight Metamaterials reverse-merger, but they waited to do so until after the MMTLP Community began to get Congressional support.
Once the charges were filed, the SEC convinced members of Congress (even before the charges were made public), that the CEOs were guilty of something so there was no point in investigating what happened with MMTLP.
This investigation has also been used to avoid providing responses to thousands of FOIA requests.
The case is currently stayed by the courts and the lead investigators from the SEC have resigned.
On the flip-side, John Brda and George Palikaras appear to be eager for the case to proceed so that they can share their truth.
How convenient for the SEC that the case has been stayed!
