@MayorofLondon If you want to sort out the supply/demand imbalance, build properties. Do not further stifle the PRS and drive more landlords out of the industry. You’ll just make it worse.

@virginmedia If that was the only issue than yes that would be the logical next step. But as you’ll see from the previous tweets and email sent on Wednesday it isn’t. All the issues need dealing with in the round or otherwise I’ll have to cancel and go back to sky.

In a power cut we discovered the landline is run off the router. So no power, no 999.

@virginmedia She wasn’t informed by letter or email that her VM contract was coming to an end. So having taken £35 extra out of her bank account this month she can’t afford to go shopping this week and will have to use what food she has in the freezer.

It’s disgraceful.

@virginmedia Her 18 mnth contract has just finished. She was paying £35pm. A DD was taken out this month for £70. I called up to enquire about cancelling as she just can’t afford anymore & for the same package as she’s on, retentions offered £50pm or £44 if she 1/2’s the BB speed.

@virginmedia The guy I spoke to at VM yesterday said that she wouldn’t be eligible for a “disabled” phone line to be installed because it wasn’t claimed when they dug the front garden up 18 months ago. We were never given this as an option at the time, if we had we would have insisted on it.

@virginmedia During 2 recent power cuts we discovered her VM landline didn’t work. I found out VM didn’t install a phone line just a coax 18 mnth ago and her landline is run off the BB router.

She is petrified because she wouldn’t be able to ring 999 if she needed to. Nor me or her son.
