Today, we took a significant step forward in managing Lagos's environmental future at the 2nd Stakeholders Engagement for the Lagos Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Registry.
As I emphasized in my presentation, we cannot account for, or reduce, what we have not measured. The core aim of this registry is to provide that critical, data-driven foundation. The evidence is clear: investing in a cleaner environment yields massive returns in public health, and this initiative is central to that mission.
Together with our dedicated partners, Swanlux Global Investments limited and TPHG technologies, we are finalizing a realistic timeline to launch the registry. This will allow us to accurately measure our pollutant footprint, track our progress in counterbalancing it, and steadfastly advance toward our ultimate goal: ensuring every Lagosian can breathe clean, healthy air.

What a full circle moment!
I’ve just been nominated for The Future Awards Africa Professional Prize (2025) by The Future Project: a recognition that means a lot to me, not just because of what it represents, but because of the journey that led me here. @TFAAfrica
You probably know my story, my deep passion for Marketing, Technology, and National Development, and how, over the past decade, everything I’ve done has revolved around using marketing, communication and innovation to enable access. I’ve seen how the right ideas, communicated with clarity and purpose, can shift mindsets, open markets, and create opportunity.
From working on Facebook (now Meta)’s brand launch in Nigeria and helping shape Mark Zuckerberg’s first visit to Africa, to leading PR campaigns that made ride-hailing a part of Nigerian culture with Uber.
From legacy PR campaigns for leading financial institutions like Access Bank and Union Bank, to launching and rebranding products for some of Africa’s biggest FMCG brands.
From using technology to connect young professionals to jobs at SeamlessHR (then Insidify) early in my career, to shaping narratives for legacy institutions, championing home ownership at a leading real estate group with operations in 10+ African countries, and most recently launching fintech products that expand access to savings, investment, credit, and trade financing.
Today at Waza, I’m helping businesses across Africa unlock cross-border opportunities, access foreign exchange, and participate fully in global commerce: empowering them to scale and process payments to over 100 countries with ease.
Beyond the boardroom, I’ve poured my energy into community impact through the Global Shapers Community, Lagos Hub: a World Economic Forum initiative.
Through projects like Digiterate, we have equipped thousands of young people in Lagos with digital skills, and with Plastic2Resources, we empowered women in underserved communities to turn plastic waste into value, removing over 4 million bottles from the streets of Lagos.
Through it all, one purpose has remained constant:
To enable access to technology, to capital, to markets, to opportunity.
That’s what drives me.
That’s what keeps me building.
And to be recognised by The Future Awards Africa, a platform that has spotlighted so many of Nigeria’s brightest professionals (and one that began in partnership with Red Media Africa, where I started my career), feels like coming home.
Grateful. Humbled. Motivated to keep going. And for every collaborator, mentor, and challenger who’s been part of this journey.
Here’s to continuing the work of building access, telling better stories, and shaping the future.

Yesterday, I attended the 2025 Sustainability Table Series at the Oriental Hotel, a gathering that celebrated leaders and ignited innovators in the sustainability space. The discussions, centered on the theme Sustainability in Action, remains a powerful reminder that meaningful progress comes from collaboration, shared purpose, and tangible steps forward.
It was inspiring to be among so many committed partners, playing a vital role in building a greener, more resilient Lagos. At LASEPA, we remain dedicated to turning dialogue into deeds and ensuring that environmental protection remains at the heart of our city’s growth.

Biases , inconsistencies , the dilemmas of half truths & half information & the foundering of the ultimate rule : “logic over emotions” . Sighs.
But again , adversities are ladders 🙂 . A ultimate double edged sword. So , ahead ahead!!!!
The only housemate in BBNaija history that won so much that people started doubting Big brother’s credibility. The street will never forget Faith #bbnaija
faith’s dad: “it’s no challenge, it’s lonely at the top and top is meant for you. you are not meant for the bottom.”
it doesn’t get better than this, i need a family spin off after this 🤣😭✋🏽

Oya Drs on my TL, if Faith enter finals today , we all know what to do yes , we bring it home, at least he made Drs proud.
@Nigerian_Doctor we have a Dr in big brother representing very well o, for the first time lol.
Someone like me who watches back to back can't hate Faith. Maybe I would have, if I was only following highlights on the internet, cos I see how they demonize him. #BBNaijaS10#BBNaija
@Fswglory Wait, they want Imisi to win the show…and not themselves? Please make it make sense, so they’re in that house to Gossip and cuddle aggressively under sheets? This is not me defending Faith or anything, in as much as I like him, I feel he’s done the most this week sha…
@Fswglory This year’s Big Brother feels like a mirror reflecting our society. Imagine hearing someone say, ‘I prefer the one who doesn’t deserve it to win, rather than faith to win.’ That’s tragic! We live in a society where doing what is right is often downgraded,
Genius that knows its own worth is seldom seen as wisdom, but as pride. For men fear the light that reveals their own shadows & inadequacies because the light reveals what they could be but are not. So,rather than learn , ask , they scream pride ! The story of @faith_adewale_ ❤️
