@inve1ns Oh SF does, for example we have a neighborhood that was divided up just so a few blocks could be rebranded by Salesforce. It has its own website, events planning, etc. https://t.co/CzUEHZrK3I and this is one of the more boring ones.
@SinaHartung One nice thing about being gay in tech in SF is that I don't have to debate the merits of the neighborhoods and instead just live in The Castro.
Update on the Rimowa story: we flew Copenhagen to Lisbon now
They somehow managed to do this to it ๐
$1000 suitcase! ๐คก
P.S. I didn't buy it, my gf did, she's more susceptible to brand value (and paid influencers)
Rimowa I think is really just way worse than any $100 Samsonite or American Tourister suitcase that never breaks
If you want to pay 10x more for 10x less buy Rimowa (or anything owned by LVMH)
Stay away from luxury brands!
I've never stayed in a place and needed daily cleaning, I normally just put up the DND anyways until the third or fourth day. People should learn how to be less disgusting in general and appreciate the lower prices that eventually come from this type of change.
The hotel eco scam explained by @grok
So they can add $20-$35/night in profit if they don't clean your room
While virtue signaling to customers that they're sustainable and fighting climate change but they're not๐
It's all greenwashing to make more money off of you while giving you much less
Interesting

@Fai5alAld0sar1@Hedgeye The working class doesn't have to buy the index, only a tiny bit of self determination is all that it takes to not be a part of this.
