Chido Obi is a prime example of why young players need good advisors.
He left Arsenal for Man United three seasons ago because he wanted a “pathway” to first team football. At the time, Arsenal had only one senior striker, while Man United had three. Ever since, he has only played U18 football for Man United.
There were bigger chances of him playing senior football at Arsenal, where the striker options were limited, than at United.
Yet he made that move, and now, three seasons later, he’s been loaned to one of the worst teams in the Dutch league.
