@united diverted my 68 year old Mother’s flight three (driving) hours away from her destination, then offered her absolutely no way to get home from there. They offered her a hotel in the city where the plane landed, then refused to book her a flight home. Inhumane. Typical UA.
New version of my app, SoundGuy on the Mac App Store. iOS version is in the works. Really tricky turning a keyboard driven app into a touch driven app but I'm determined!
SoundGuy version 1.81 just hit the app store. Very minor update to keep that bottom button from hugging the the window border. Version 1.8 introduced dark mode for MacOS Mojave and it looks sharp!
Do you need sound effects to fill your SoundGuy library? Try https://t.co/dDfNhCRQPw and https://t.co/pTFfFRow1J Two great resources for sound effects, many of which are free to use. Be sure to pay attention to the licenses! https://t.co/ndBY8h1xDF
92db is simply too loud for crappy movie trailers, especially when they give the movie away and are all the same. @AMCTheatres@DisneySprings Just try to make it bearable instead of destroying the movie going experience. Please.
@lukeredpath You’re right, for sure. I would like it, though, just for the sake of consolidation. It’s part of what makes an MS Surface appealing, tablet that you can also run VS on is pretty cool.
The iOS updates will be fun, Mohave will be great but my favorite part was Craig Federighi saying “we love the Mac”. I’m not 100% sure I believe him, but it was nice to hear. I wish they announced more development tools for iOS ON iOS. Xcode for iOS is my dream. Not yet. #wwdc
So far WWDC feels very consumer focused. A lot of neat little things being added to iOS but so far nothing for the pros or developers. I’m staying hopeful but after a miserably disappointing two years from Apple, I had hoped this year would be more exciting. Hope I’m wrong.
