It’s not half history by any means… the communists planned to let the KMT spend thenseves on the Japanese. They fought in only one major conflict and one minor conflict… the rest was small hit and run style engagements, sometimes on the KMT themselves… I know this is hard to accept for west Taiwan citizens but the KMT did the dirty work and Mao was a little bitch… who also murdered between 40 and 70 million of your own people…

I mean if you mean the KMT fought a brutal war to protect China against Japan while the communists under mao fought only 2 small conflicts the entire war while also working against the KMT using guerrilla tactics. Once the KMT had spent itself securing victory, mao drove them off the mainland using forces he could have used to save Chinese lives. The only cope here is you still thinking the ccp is anything other that a paper tiger.
