The ball drops to him and it would be an awful miss if he misses that chance. You are reading far too much into it. That could happen in any game, regardless of how he’s playing

@UtdForever7 @ManUtd @premierleague I’m not saying he’s not done better recently but to say “the impact came immediately with a goal and an assist” is ridiculous. Completely ridiculous. He’s plays in a position and in a style that goals and assists should come his way now and then, almost randomly though.

The stupidity of worrying about assist stats. Lindelof has just made his first prem start for Villa.
In general play ( no free kicks or corners ) he’s only one behind Bruno for assists this season.
