In the SOTU, @POTUS called on the GOP controlled Senate to pass the SAVE America Act.  

Here is a primer of the Senate rules re how the GOP Senate can pass the SAVE America Act with a simple majority. 51 votes. NOT 60.

1.  @chiproytx and @BasedMikeLee, with support of @SpeakerJohnson put the entire content of the SAVE America Act into a Senate bill (S1383) that had already passed the Senate and was at the HOUSE awaiting consideration. 

2.  The House passed S1383 containing the SAVE America Act language.

3.  S1383 SAVE America Act is now back to the Senate, awaiting Senate action.  It can be called up and moved to floor by simple MAJORITY vote.  Not 60 votes.  Any time.

4.  Once the bill is on the floor, it is ready for consideration. Sen Thune is in charge of it.  

5.  It faces a filibuster.  Thune can then do one of two things:
- try to cut off the filibuster which requires 60 votes and will kill the bill.  

WE DONT WANT HIM TO DO THAT. That is a deliberate move to kill the bill.
  - the other option is to simply allow the Democrats to filibuster the bill.  
THATS WHAT WE WANT

6.  There are 50 GOP Senators pledged to vote yes.  So if we can get to the other side of the filibuster, SAVE America Act can pass with 51 votes.  

7. Make the Democrats actually DO the filibuster.  Make them talk about the bill.

8.   Why do they oppose proof of citizenship for registering to vote?

9.  Why do they oppose photo idea to vote?

10. Why do they oppose requiring states to clean voter rolls?

11.  Let the filibuster run its course.  Let the toddlers have their tantrum 

12.  Then, when that’s over or when they are tired, the SAVE America Act can pass with a simple majority.  51 votes. 

THAT is what we want Sen Thune to do. It is all within his control. 

He just needs to stand up, look the Democrats in the eye and say “okay, guys, let’s go.  Let’s have a filibuster”

That’s what the American people want.  Don’t get sucked into the false narrative that the SAVE America Act must have 60 votes to pass.  Not true. 

What is required is a leader who’s not afraid to lead and a Republican majority who’s not afraid to work.  And to fight for something that matters to the American people.  

We are watching and pushing.  A cloture motion before any debate is intended to kill the bill.  Is that what Sen Thune wants- to be the one who kills the SAVE America Act?

It's lawfully seized Venezuelan crude from Maduro's criminal regime...tankers and cargoes violating U.S. sanctions that Congress itself authorized through multiple statutes (CAATSA, VERDAD Act, and repeated appropriations for OFAC enforcement).

The executive branch, under IEEPA powers Congress delegated, blocks, seizes, and forfeits sanctioned property.

This isn't theft; it's enforcement of law against a narco-terrorist state that starved its people and funded Hezbollah.

Calling it "stolen" makes you sound like a Maduro apologist or a useful idiot...pick one.

Second, the proceeds aren't being funneled into "Trump's personal piggy bank."

That's a venomous, baseless smear worthy of MSNBC, not a sitting Congressman.

The funds from these sales are parked in a protected Qatari account precisely to shield them from predatory creditors (ConocoPhillips, Crystallex, etc.) who hold billions in valid U.S. court judgments against Maduro's regime.

The goal: preserve the money for the Venezuelan people under a future legitimate government, not let it be siphoned off by vulture funds in U.S. courts.

This is textbook sanctions policy...neutral offshore escrow to prevent asset dissipation.

We've done variants for Iran, Russia, Afghanistan. It's strategic, not corrupt.

Third, your hysterical screech about "only Congress can appropriate money" is constitutional illiteracy wrapped in performative outrage.

These aren't U.S. taxpayer dollars drawn from the Treasury requiring annual appropriation.

They are forfeited foreign assets...proceeds of sanctioned property.

The executive has longstanding authority to manage, liquidate, and direct such funds under existing statutory frameworks without new line-item appropriation each time.

If every seized tanker sale needed a separate vote, sanctions would be toothless. Your purported "originalist" reading collapses the moment you touch reality.

You're not defending the Constitution, Thomas.

You're posturing for clicks while undermining a policy that starves a brutal regime of revenue and preserves resources for Venezuela's liberation.

🟥 STEP 1: 1988 – THE YEAR THE JIHAD NETWORK WENT PUBLIC ON U.S. SOIL

Back in 1988, long before most Americans had heard the name “Osama bin Laden,” Hamed Ghazali was already:

🔻 Filming and promoting jihadi recruitment and fundraising videos inside the United States

🔻 Going mosque-to-mosque through his “Ghazali Islamic Video” operation

🔻 Platforming the top aides and protégés of Al-Qaeda co-founder Abdullah Azzam

🔻 Broadcasting appeals for “weapons support” for the Mujahideen

🔻 Praising American Muslims who left the U.S. to fight jihad overseas

His tapes show:

🔻 U.S. mosques used as jihad recruitment hubs
🔻 Al-Qaeda’s network touring American Islamic centers to raise cash and fighters
🔻 Calls to donate to the “Occupied Land Fund” - later exposed as the Holy Land Foundation, convicted of sending $12 million to Hamas

Second-in-command to Abdullah Azzam, co-founder of Al-Qaeda.

On Ghazali’s tape he:

– asked U.S. Muslims for “weapons support”
– confirmed Americans were joining jihad

🔸 Abdullah Azzam’s inner circle

Azzam - Osama bin Laden’s mentor - appears via his American convert guard, who said:

– Azzam personally trained him
– Azzam sent him back to the U.S. to recruit and raise money
– American Muslims have a duty to fight jihad

🔸 Nabil Sadoun (later deported for hiding Hamas ties)

Praised Sayyid Qutb’s Milestones — the jihad manifesto that inspired 9/11.

🔸 The “Occupied Land Fund”

Ghazali urged donations to this group, which later became the Holy Land Foundation, convicted of sending $12 million to Hamas.

This is the network he platformed on tape, inside America, decades before 9/11.

🟥 STEP 2: 1991 – THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD PUTS HIM IN THE WAR PLAN

In 1991, the Muslim Brotherhood circulated its now-infamous Explanatory Memorandum - a master strategy for conquering North America from within, using:

Schools
Mosques
Youth programs
Community institutions

In that secret document, the Brotherhood NAMES Hamed Ghazali as part of its:

“comprehensive da’wah educational organization”

His center is identified as one of the foundations for the nationwide Islamic education system designed to carry out their “grand jihad” against Western civilization.

So by the early 1990s, you have:

🔻A man who helped promote recruitment and fundraising for the networks that fed Al-Qaeda and Hamas

🔻Then formally plugged into the Brotherhood’s master plan to control Islamic education in America

🔻Became chairman of the Muslim American Society Council of Islamic Schools (MASCIS)

Today, he runs Houston Quran Academy and other education projects.

So the same man who:

On November 18, 2025, Governor Greg Abbott officially designated:
